“This is my new favorite spot in La Grange! It is located east of Noodles and Co. on Calendar. It is quite small, but a great place to pick up healthy smoothies and bowls. Most things are dairy free, or vegan. I particularly love their soups! Try them out. The staff is also extremely friendly.”
“I had lunch with a friend who was new to Indian cuisine. Our waiter took the time to give us the background of the restaurant and explain multiple dishes, noting the difference in flavors and spices, and giving recommendations. He was so patient and kind, and you could tell he genuinely cared. We loved all of the dishes we ordered. The short-rib special was so delicious and huge! The lamp chops were also out of this world. Will definitely return!Dietary restrictions: All meat was halal except the chicken. Check with server or call ahead.”
“I would highly recommend fourteensixteen as it is by far the best restaurant in lagrange. The staff are amazing, the vibes are on point, and the location itself presents itself well. I got the pistachio covered lamb rack when I last went, and it was phenomenal. The dish held up well, the lamb was moist, and the sauces complimented the lamb perfectly. I also had the mango cheesecake, and I can still remember how perfect the cheesecake was. It was a perfect amount of cheesecake flavor to mango flavor. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant as I have yet to see a better one in the surrounding area.”
“Such a cute place. Fantastic food. Soup dumpling were great, I can never seem to find them, and happy I did! Noodle soup and duck app was also great. Wine specials were nice as well. Our server was great and very attentive! Thanks Brian!”
“Very nice, good food, accommodating in every way. We were running late for our reservation and they were very understanding, hostesses were very friendly and our server (Nick? Or he just reminds me of Nick from New Girl ?) was AMAZING!! Give that man a RAISE! Bartender downstairs was great as well. Everyone from Hostess to bus boys had it together. Thank you for a great dinner ❤️”
“Excellent place to meet friends and family for espresso and sandwiches. Great atmosphere, food, drink, and service for a reasonable price. The latte art is the best I’ve seen at a price comparable to the coffee chains.”
“I cannot speak highly enough of the quality, goodness and the richness of the products and the pure heart of the staff.. but I will! The shop + staff is truly wonderful and amazing in every sense of the word. From the design of the Matcha bowls, to the very unique one of a kind savory flavors of a variety of snacks and chocolate. Face cleansers, plant based protein shakes, dark chocolate with healing herbs, tea sets, oils, herbs. A plethora. I felt so happy stepping into the shop. I highly recommend trying a bit of everything. There is so much to choose throughout the whole shop like the bowls.. Everything is high end quality, reasonably and fairly priced and sourced. The authenticity of the energy and products of this shop is real. The lanyards are super cute. The merch items are beautiful. If you in the area, or wanting to add this place to your must stop to see, please stop by, bring a friend and explore together what is the wonderful world .. of Wonderful Matcha. Also! It brought me a huge smile to know of the organic items they have and how warm and inviting the staff who work here are. The whole process of seeing my drink made, brought me tears of joy to be transparently honest. It reached the fondness of the deepest parts of my heart with such wonder and joy. Izzy even shared knowledge about matcha making. Which I loved and appreciated learning. Thank you Wonderful Matcha for bringing these items to us Thank you for your welcoming inviting spirits. Thank you for being in the community. This is my joy place and I’ll be stopping by regularly. AND THEY HAVE AN OPTION FOR BIRTHDAY GIFT BOX MAKING. Just name your price and the staff creates beautifully put together high quality gift boxes to gift to your friends and family. AND THEY HAVE NATURAL HERB TEAS!!!”
“Was a hole in the wall place my friend and I tried for lunch. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I got the PB+J Burger and it was delicious! My friend got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and was a big fan of it. The sweet potato fries were a perfect side. Will be back to try more off the menu! I think there is only street parking, so just make sure you get a spot!”
“Great food, great service. Our waitress was Polish so that was nice too, since we are Polish. We had the omelets which come with potatoes and toast or pancakes, very good food.”
“The owners made me feel like I was a regular, and had been going there for years.., but it was actually my first time eating there . The Lemon chicken soup was the best I've ever had! Went back the next day to bring some home to Missouri. (Here on vacation and wanted to share with friends when I get home) I will definitely be back. Ohh and the homemade bread they serve with the soup came out of the oven while they packaged my soup to go, and it was warm and sliced for me on the spot. It doesn't get better than this family owned hidden gem. Thank you Grapevine, I'll be back next time I visit!”
“Our family loves coming to this place. Great service all the time; they always make it feel more personable as if you were their family.Everything on the menu is a must. Their Godzilla and Chicago Fire Sushi rolls are the best.Miso and Hot and sour soups hot the spot on cold days and the saki give you that kick if you're looking spice.Overall great hidden gem in LaGrange.”
“We don't get to go out often since I teach past 9:00 most nights, but had an early night and were told 8:15 would be ok. I know that's late for the restaurant, but our server was friendly anyway and still offered appetizers and desserts. She took good care of us, and we never felt rushed. The food was delicious. I hope to return someday at an earlier time to order more courses (we kept it simple for BOH staff since we knew it was late even if they went out of their way to not make us feel that way). I also appreciated the amount of tomato free options offered!”
“I've been here for breakfast before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was the first time I've eaten dinner at Peasino's. It was amazing! Everything we ordered was from the appetizer menu (3 spreads with bread, fish tacos, a delicious fig and prosciutto flatbread, and an order of street corn). We loved it all. Our server, Chris K., was charming and delightful. We will definitely be back and hopefully Chris will be working when we do. Go! You won't be disappointed.”
“As other reviewers have mentioned, this mom & pop shop really does feel like home cooked food. It was not greasy like other Chinese places & food was well seasoned. We got the dinner for two which came with tons of fried apps like shrimp, shrimp roll, egg roll & crab Rangoon w fried rice, cashew chicken & Mongolian beef (my favorite). I also got wonton soup (which was delish), Thai tea & a side of white rice. I like that they have both Chinese (including Cantonese) & Thai dishes. Service was quick & efficient & the place was very comfortable & homey. The owners said the place has been open 19 years. Glad we finally checked it out as it’s some of the best Chinese food we’ve had near our area and very affordable! Will definitely return.”
“We came here from Naperville since we had business nearby. Had to park three blocks away on an early Friday evening. Overall it was a great experience but somewhat expensive with 3 drinks. It got pretty noisy when full. Sharply decorated and very good food and menu selection. Waitress attentive but busy. I would go back especially for a special occasion.Nice portions on starter , entrees and dessert. Marco's is a nice independent upscale restaurant in the Western Suburbs. They obviously did their homework on this operation.”
