I would like to update my review as I'm proof reading through my last review. Trying to copy and paste the actual ingredients. My husband and I are not vegan but we appreciate good food and Vegan Cafe is excellent. We were treated like friends even though it was our first visit. The menu was explained to us and we were able to sample several dishes before ordering. It was difficult to choose. I loved the Pad Thai with zoodles and my husband raved about the Sloppy Joe's. I took a piece of the almond butter pie home. Not to be missed. We traveled 45 miles from Park Ridge to get there. Worth it. See you...read full review

The food is amazing! Fresh, raw and delicious. Even my carnivore friend enjoyed everything. We had the nachos, cheese steak, cucumber boats and the turtle brownies. Entrees are served with green salad and an apple citrus salad. I took the Thai pizza and almond butter banana pie to go. The staff and owner are pleasant and attentive. I do not live nearby, but plan on returning.
