“Food was really good! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent! The burgers were delicious! The kids meals were good! I'm only keeping it at a 4/5 stars because we waited for almost an hour for our food. The waitress was great and everything about it was great! I would definitely recommend and go here again, just don't be in a hurry.“
“This location recently opened up for breakfast. Holy Mackerel and Harry Caray's restaurants share adjoining space at the front of the Westin Hotel. Harry Caray's is definitely a five star restaurant (in my opinion). However, Holy Mackerel has a bit of work to do with their breakfast menu to attain the same quality.Note: I have only tried the breakfast menu at Holy Mackerel. Maybe the lunch and dinner menu are a little better.“
“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“
“This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is good, service excellent, and atmosphere nice. I had dinner here and they had a new spring menu. My only complaint is that the food menu is a little limited; I would have expected more options. I had the salmon, which was very good, and paired with an appetizer of the crab cake. Finally, the wine selection is more than sufficient.Parking: Parking is not an issue: plenty of space and easy to find.“
“We ordered sushi for take out from here on a whim (after our regular place turned out so busy on Good Friday that they disconnected their phone and turned off online ordering). They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. Everything was fresh and yummy - I also feel like the specialty roll portions were very sizeable. Will definitely come back again to try some of the bento meals and udon noodles! Thanks :)“
“I found this gem by chance. The food is beyond amazing, I had the fermented seafood pho. OMG!!! The flavors were so good, and nothing was overpowering. You know you're in a great place when the owner is greeting customers like they're part of the family. This will definitely be a return visit the next time I'm in town.“
“The highlight of my dining experience was, without a doubt, the Barramundi. This dish is a testament to the chef's artistry and the kitchen's commitment to sourcing the freshest, most sustainable produce. The barramundi, a fish known for its buttery texture and delicate flavor, was cooked to perfection. Its skin was crisped to a golden hue, encasing the moist, flaky flesh within. It was served atop a bed of vibrant, seasonal vegetables, each bite a harmonious blend of earth and sea. Parker Restaurant is not just a place to eat; it's a destination for those who appreciate fine dining in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, a meal at Parker promises not only to satisfy your hunger but to leave you with a lasting impression of culinary excellence.“
“If you want true Italian cooking and a friendly atmosphere, then Mangia Napoli is the place. I cannot express enough how great the food is! Thank you to Fonz, Eddie & Vinnie for the excellence in food. Fonz the Zuppa you prepared for our anniversary was beyond excellent! Many thanks“
“We enjoyed the appetizers , drinks dessert and service . Jodie our server was amazing and very attentive. All the recommendations made by her, we loved. Thank you Jodie .We ordered bruschetta , calamari, chopped salad, minestrone soup, peace bianco alla spinaci, pollo positano. Their martinis are amazing and so were their desserts- Affogato, tirmaisu and apple crostata. A big shout out to the owner Billy for going above and beyond and handling a delicate situation. I know I will be back for some yummy italian food .“
“Overall, this was a decent steakhouse. My husband and I came here on the last day of restaurant week this year, as we love trying different steakhouses. The service was great and our server was attentive despite the busy dinner rush we had entered. The food was decent. For our starter, I got the SRF Wagyu Meatball with Whipped Ricotta and Basil Pesto which was very good. My husband got the lobster bisque which was a bit cold when we got it. For our entree, my husband got the center- cut filet mignon and I got the Double Cut Prime Pork Chop. Again, my dish tasted more on point than his. Both of our desserts hit the spot though! We got the hot chocolate cake and the hazelnut chocolate mousse! Overall, there were some slight misses but definitely a lot of hits!“
“We LOVE this restaurant, and will always come back for a fun/delicious night out, but we always seem to have something missing or incorrect with our order. The servers are very nice/accommodating, but it would be preferable to have our orders come out correctly the first time.“
“The experience was very pleasant, the service was very good, very attentive, helpful, the food is delicious, the place is clean, beautiful, they have delicious quesadillas and they also had someone playing guitar music.Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere has two spaces“
“I had the shrimp and grits and it’s very delicious. It looks tiny but they give you so much shrimp and it’s very filling. The drinks are delicious and will get you a good buzz. They should play more yacht rock music to fit the vibes better imo. Other than that it’s a great place to eat and it deserves more attention.Parking: Plenty of parking available“
“We were seated at a booth in the bar area. It was comfortable but the noise level was a bit elevated. Would have preferred being seated in the dining room. Our server was attentive and courteous. Both of our cocktails were incorrect, but the bar order was rectified. Food was tasty and ample. The cioppino was way too spicy (hot). Chef went overboard on the red pepper flakes. Overall, a pleasant dining experience and we would recommend Devon to others.“
“This place is the place to be if you're eating with a big group. Tapas are always such a great way to bond with others and share delicious food -- essentially sharing everything and tasting all sorts of flavors.Lisa was a fantastic server and I would recommend her over and over again.Emilio's Tapas Bar is A MUST GO.“
“We went to this restaurant for a family event. There were nine in our party and because of our party's size, we were seated in the building next to the restaurant. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was beyond delicious! We had heard good things and everything we heard was true. If you are looking for good Italian food, this is the place to go.“
“Sergio was AMAZING! Excellent food , excellent drinks, excellent environment! I got the honey margarita and my friend got the white sangria , both EXACTLY what we wanted. So refreshing! Sergio's recommendations were right on! The Scorpio Burger and Grilled Chicken sandwich blew us away! Can't wait to come back!“
“I had the most exceptional experience with Venuti's Banquets for my daughter's XV party. From the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting our event there, to the planning process with Ruby, to the actual day of the event, every detail was handled with professionalism and care.Ruby's assistance was invaluable - she made sure to note every little detail, ensuring that nothing was overlooked. The pace of the event was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The attention we received was truly first class.I was so impressed with the service before, during, and after the event that I am already planning to rebook Venuti's Banquets for my next big party. I highly recommend Venuti's for anyone looking for a top-notch venue with amazing service and a wonderful staff. Thank you for making my daughter's special day even more memorable.“
“First time stopping at Bs Shrimp & Fish after driving by the area and seeing this new spot had opened up. I tried their shrimp, corn fritters, onion rings and spaghetti. Everything was bursting with flavor, the shrimp tasted very fresh. They make their own homemade sauces and what a bonus to find they carry other options like wings tenders, desserts, mac n cheese and much more. So glad to know we now have this jem in the neighborhood. I will be a returning customer for sure!“
“I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the kebab with the mixed sauce and I have to say it was delicious. My husband had the lamb and it was also very good. We ordered drinks the passion empress was so good and refreshing. The service was tremendous and the atmosphere was great. I am so glad that we discovered this place what a gem with European food. Simply delicious. Will definitely go back.“
“I was pleasantly surprised by everything; service, food & cost. Will definitely be going back for more. Had skirt steak & eggs with pancakes instead of toast. The cut of skirt steak was proper length, width & thickness. No weird thin cuts here. Also, the pancakes are amazing. The waitress was so friendly & attentive that she is the gold standard & one of the best I've had anywhere, my entire life. Nothing over the top of phoney, just a darn excellent person.“
“First timer here and I will be back. Great service— perhaps due to time of day and it not being busy— but the servers were constantly asking/making sure I had enough side dishes and/or if I needed anything else.My meal came with refillable tea which was very nice. I got the bulgogi bento box and it was really delicious and worth the money for everything I got on my plate. I would love to try some of their other staple dishes as well. The vibe of the place was nice; they had k-pop music playing and a very clean aesthetic. I’ll def add this restaurant to my rotating list of staple places to eat at.“
“I enjoy this restaurant. They have a great bar and make a wonderful old fashioned. Their oysters Rockefeller are out of this world. Best I have ever had and I’ve been to Antoine’s. Crispy chicken wasn’t. It was in a sauce and wasn’t special. Cheesecake Factory has better elote, and Jimmys hotdogs on Grand has better fries. We have had the steaks in the past and they are very good. Yesterday was like eating at a McDonalds playland. The couple seated after me saw where the host was going and said no, they wanted the remote room. I’ll remember that. You can at least have the adults in a quieter area. The service wasn’t great. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come and get the drink order. Not exaggerating. A group who came after us were served dinner before we got our appetizers. The host came over often but it seemed kind of odd. They couldn’t figure out how to give us separate checks. But I’ll go back and have oysters as an entree or a steak.“
“We had a fantastic dinner here! I had never been to Ditka’s before and it did not disappoint. The service was very friendly and the drinks/food were phenomenal. The new burrata appetizer has a burst of different flavors we marveled at and our main courses came out piping hot and incredibly delicious. We agreed this was the best meal we’ve had out in a long time. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!!“
“I had just left a review somewhere else about how I've never had a restaurant that served both ramen and sushi where the ramen was actually decent, but there's a first time for everything, right? The restaurant itself is quaint, but comfortable and has a nice ambience. I sat right in front of the sushi making area so I had a nice little show while I ate. The server was nice and took my order quickly and checked in on me enough.I had ordered both a miso ramen and a couple pieces of tamago nigiri. Funny enough, while my usual complaint is the ramen at a sushi restaurant, today it's more of a small complaint about the sushi! The sushi itself didn't taste bad at all. It was well-made, in fact. My only "complaint" was that the tamago was still very cold from the fridge, but still really tasty. It didn't affect my overall experience. The ramen was great and the presentation was really nice. I'm really fond of miso ramen in general and they made it really well here.Noodles: The noodles are thinner, springy, and chewy. They were pleasant to eat and tasted amazing. They had a nice neutral taste that went well with the broth.Broth: The broth was rich and savory and had a good miso flavor. It was served perfectly hot.Toppings: The pork tasted like it was marinated well and was nicely braised. The egg wasn't marinated in anything and was a plain soft boiled egg. The bamboo shoots also tasted good on their own. I also enjoyed the corn last in the broth. Everything worked well both separately and together.Overall, I was very pleased with Lili Sushi & Ramen! I'll definitely be coming back to enjoy the other bowls of ramen offered here!Vegetarian options: They have vegetable ramen“
“If you haven’t checked this place out yet you absolutely said I went in for dinner with my family, but stopped at the bar first Kim and Brian were amazing and so much fun. I loved their energy George was our server he super friendly we had a lot of laughs! Thank you! Be back “
“The food was great and affordable! Atmosphere was fun! We all had an amazing time! Huge shout out do the man in the hanger (I think he said his name was Jeff). He was so nice and excited to show us around the hanger! You could tell he really enjoys working there and is excited to share his knowledge of planes! He really took our experience from great to amazing! We were beyond impressed with everything!“
“We do steaks and king crab legs every Xmas Eve. We checked a number of places for king crab legs. Many didn't have them, OR had the crab clusters. Not the same thing. Supreme Lobster had them, and much more. We'll be going back thru the New Year for fresh seafood!“
“I would definitely recommend if you are looking to try something new that is healthy and tasty. Their menu items and drink options are unique and I loved the smell of toasted coconut while enjoying my meal. Make sure to get one of the dole soft serves!“
“I went there today and I had to write a review. I found them on Google and live in a near by neighborhood. The food is delicious!!!! The restaurant was very clean and hand sanitizers were everywhere. The customer service was great!! I’m so glad I found them and don’t have to travel the city for jerk. Keep doing a great job!!!“
“The food & service were great! Kelly was an excellent server and so patient with my autistic little brother. We enjoyed our burgers & the wings were great.Only con is that the women’s bathroom smelled horrible. It appeared to be clean, but the smell was really bad. Perhaps some bleach or re-tiling would do the trick.Overall, great experience. I just wouldn’t use the bathroom there.“
“Wow what a Jem! As soon as I walked in everyone was so friendly and the place was inviting. Jessica was our server and she was Fantastic! The food was Delicious! I have gone to every restaurant in Oakbrook but you guys are definitely the BEST! We will be back as we are foodies!“
“Number to share other than to say we really liked that place and enjoyed the food. Before we went there when I thought of Greek food I thought of gyros and that stuff in grape leaves. This place was a heck of a lot more than that and very yummy.“
“Discovered this place recently and wanted to give it a try. We picked 3 of their signature bowls for a pick up. It was not busy and the order was ready waiting for us. The place was clean and the lady working there was friendly. The portion is good, food was fresh and overall had a good experience with our first order. However, for a to-order I thought the sauce could be placed on the side for people to control how much to mix in.“
“Had the porkchops, it was enough for three people and was incredibly good. The restaurant is a well oiled machine, just getting people in, fed, and out the door. Everything was fine, no complaints. Just not relaxed and quaint for my taste but this is what you should expect from a good steakhouse in the center of a popular higher end shopping center. We went on a Saturday night and Parking was a nightmare.“
“I'd like to state that while the food was delicious for the price and atmosphere I unfortunely became very underwhelmed. This was my first time dining at Fogo and thought that Oak brook would be an excellent location. To my disappointment the experience was not to my expectations. Staff was friendly and food was fresh. However, at times staff forgot to bring me a plate after having taken it. I had food spilled on me twice which left my arm sticky. I understand accidents happen but thankfully I didn't bring a light shirt or else that would've been ruined. While walking around the salad bar I slipped. Floors were very slipper. Did not seem clean or safe. I Came for the food but also was expecting a more nicer ambiance.I hate being so critical. This experience could've been great but the setting wasn't for me. Staff is great and maybe just the nerves got the best of them. I'll give it that. Here my recommendation. Tables should be spread apart just a tad bit. They were so close I felt suffocated. Woman also bring bags and I had nowhere to set my bag down.I will come back however the fancy experience I thought I would have did not happen. To me Fogo is unfortunely one of those places where you come to just stuff your face. If you expect to have a fancy experience lower those expectations.pros: come hungry, leave satisfieddrinks were greatthey provide fresh cutscons: setting is not the besttables are too closefloors are stickyit is messynot fancy/ more chain restaurant vibesIn all I do recommend.“
“I ordered on May 29th, and indicated that I have Celiac disease (gluten intolerance). I mistakenly ordered a portion of my bowl that included gluten ingredients. They attempted to call me twice (I missed it) to let me know. Even though I did not answer, they delivered the food with the gluten containing ingredient separate with a note to be careful. I am so impressed, and it is so hard to find safe places to eat as a Celiac. The extra care and time to make sure my food was safe really impressed me... not to mention the food was fresh and so delicious! I applaud the staff for their attention to detail and care, and am making Poke Bros a staple take out.“
“Shwings Catering was phenomenal. We used shwings to cater for my son’s 1st birthday. Aside from the famous shrimp we ordered, sausage and pepper, salads, pasta , and chicken fingers. Everything was delicious, of course the shrimp was a HUGE hit! M was so sweet in helping us get a good menu and $$/pp. I’m the type of person to over order and hate when we have so many left overs , so it was helpful to have someone else’s input. If you are interested in getting catering do not hesitate to reach out, the team is so helpful.“
“Visited "Catch 35" recently on a date and had a great time. The staff were very courteous, helpful and respectful. They explained things well, and made great recommendations. Hats off the the chef, the best cooked scallops I've ever had. All the dishes were delicious and my date loved it too. My only complaint would be the serving plates; they made the serving portions look small.“
“My 1st time here.Excellent place for good food and live entertainment. I had the largest fried Shrimp ever and they were amazing. We went for the fantastic Shindig 60's band, the top local band in the Chicago area. They were outstanding, as usual. The band stage was WAY too small but worked. It needs to be reconfigured to a larger size and the lighting needs to be adjusted because taking pictures didn't work.My suggestions :1. Remove the tv's since you're really not a good venue as a sports bar. Add more tables under the tv's.2. Expand the band area and include an area for dancing. Too many people were dancing around the tables.5 separate dining areas. Lots of seating.I rated 5stars because it was an exceptional situation with St. Patrick's Day, the staff was overwhelmed with the crowds but were amazing under the circumstances.03/16/24 was St. Paddy day celebration. We had a reservation 1 month in advance. Thank goodness. But we still waited 30 minutes for our table because the wait staff wouldn't get the previous people to leave our table. This needs to be adjusted.Parking: Free parking but on an occasion, like St Patrick's day, get there early.“
“Title: A Flavorful Journey through Filipino Delights: A 10/10 ExperienceNestled within a welcoming atmosphere exuding family-friendly vibes, Val’s Kitchen Plus serves as a gateway to the heart of Filipino cuisine. During my recent visit, I was enchanted not only by the scrumptious dishes but also by the warm hospitality that defined the experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between cleanliness and an inviting aura, making it an ideal spot for a delightful dining escapade. It emitted the essence of a genuine family-oriented restaurant, welcoming patrons with open arms. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff at Val’s Kitchen Plus were paragons of hospitality, displaying a genuine eagerness to ensure a memorable dining venture. Their attentiveness and friendliness added an extra layer of comfort to the entire experience, making it feel like dining among friends. Now, onto the stars of the show—the dishes. The palabok, with its vibrant medley of flavors, offered a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that tantalized the palate. Each bite of the meticulously prepared noodles coated in a rich, savory sauce, adorned with an array of toppings, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. The lumpia, a quintessential Filipino favorite, showcased culinary finesse at its best. Crispy on the outside and bursting with savory goodness within, it was a true testament to the artistry of Filipino cuisine.Among the desserts that crowned this remarkable culinary journey, the bibingka emerged as a standout. Its coconut-infused layers of rice cake, boasting a sweet, creamy texture, were a delectable revelation—a perfect marriage of tradition and flavor that left a lasting impression. In conclusion, my time at Val’s Kitchen Plus was nothing short of exceptional. From the savory delights of palabok and lumpia to the sweet finale with the mesmerizing bibingka, each dish resonated with authenticity and skillful preparation. Coupled with the inviting ambiance and the exceptional service, my overall experience surpassed expectations, earning it a resounding 10/10 rating.“
“This is real home cooked Chinese food! Very simple old school stall in a food court but don’t let the surroundings fool you. This place is worth the 45 min drive for me. Best Chinese food in Chicago imo. LOVE the scallion pancakes. Everything tastes “
“A great place to try craft beers, warm atmosphere with live jazz, there are beer yoga classes on Sundays from 10 to 11 am 20usd per class with a pint of beer, I also highly recommend pinball tournaments.A great place to try craft beers, warm atmosphere with live jazz, there are beer yoga classes on Sundays from 10 to 11 am 20usd a class with a pint of beer, also pinball tournaments. “This place never disappoints! I had the best birthday dinner complimented by the best service! Our waiter was Bee, and he was so professional, hardworking and 100 percent dedicated to our happiness! (A party of 8) We left feeling like royalty! We’ll be back again and again!Updated: Went again and it still didn’t disappoint! New pics to prove it! vibes and food are always on point!“
“I love this place!!! I have followed this place around everywhere they moved. The place is small more like a takeout, not fancy at all. But there’s some sitting available for you to eat if desired. Nick, is always friendly and knows his stuff. The breading in the food adds to the wonderful taste of the food! I always get the large bag of shrimp with mild-sauce, to me taste and flavor is everything! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.Parking: Parking is right outside the establishment.“
“The best “fish fry” that we’ve experienced thus far in downtown Elmhurst or possibly all of Chicago!!! Why do you ask? The owner / management team (Dominic Ranieri & Nicolette Ranieri) aims to please by offering the true and proper “haddock and chips”! The batter is perfectly proportionate to the size of the fillet and not greasy. Then comes one of the best old fashions we’ve had. Why? Their amazing bartender, Evey, knows exactly how we prefer them and she never disappoints. Last, but certainly not least, the service is always impeccable from our most favorite waitress, @Alisandra Mondrella! She’s prompt, professional, and always with a smile! Thank you again for the first class experience!!!“
“Food is AMAZING here, it's always fresh and ready in 10-15 minutes and comes with great sauces. Service was friendly and very helpful if you didn't like your food or if you wanted anything extra they were always ready to help! They also have some good vegetarian and vegan options!“
“Kid-friendliness: Several quotes from the kids this experience. When are we coming back here again? This was in the top 3 or 4 places we’ve been! I wonder if there is a job that’s just a crab leg cracker? So, we all loved it. Popped in for an anniversary outing on a Lent Friday. Highly recommend the Coconit, Ubi, and Mango frozen dessert. Nothing we would have ordered but they comped it for our anniversary and it was the perfect ending to a delicious crab dinner (and everyone’s breath is better for it). We will be back soon!“
“I had a Great Experience as soon as I entered the door and was greeted my Miss Christina (Carryout). She greeted me with a smile, and assisted me with my order. I just had to let the manager Miss Tammi know how Miss Christina made me feel after a long day of work. I said at the bar and Rob was awesome. He made me the best drink ever “June Bug”. And the food was delicious“
“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“
