“What a fabulous addition to Mokena!! We were greeted by a smiling hostess and had about a 15 min wait. The place was PACKED! So glad it’s doing well! We were seated in about 10 min. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the carne asada and a taco dinner. OMG SOOO GOOD! Chips and salsa were perfect and clearly freshly made. Food came out hot and delicious. Beans were ok, different than what I’m used to. Margaritas were amazing! This place is killin it!! It was our second time there. People complain about the prices but you’re not eating at Taco Bell or a fast food joint! This is all fresh! They are newly open and still working out some kinks. The hostess thanked us for our patience and for coming in. We will definitely be back! Welcome to Mokena!“
“Food and service were excellent! It's nicely decorated for Christmas and the hostess took the time to talk to us and point out some of the unusual Christmas tree decorations. The salsa is the best that I've had in a very long time.“
“Haven't been here in a long time. Recently moved to the area and wanted to go back and see if it's what i remember! Wide variety of food to pick from on their menu. I always say if the rice and refried beans are good then i am in! They were delicious along with the margaritas! Steak tacos were good and my husband said the enchiladas were good. Will definitely go back and try something else!“
“This place was fantastic. The bartender recommended me the mini burritos and the Samberos tacos. Honestly I was blown away from how delicious both items were. 10/10 would recommend. Shout out to Jon for the recommendations, appreciate you brother!“
“Always great at this location. I love this place I drive all the way from Olympia fields as this is the only chipotle that mirrors how fresh the food was when it first opened. FYI they cook the meat PERFECT HERE. ITS not dry like most other locations. Love it.“
“Juan was fantastic!!! Food is amazing. Too loud and crowded though. I kept getting hit in the arms and elbows while eating. But we eat here all the time and always enjoy it.Vegetarian options: Wild mushroom taco is soooo good.Kid-friendliness: They treat kids so great, our son loves it.“
“Fantastic! I tried the empanadas, quesadillas, tacos al pastor and quesabirria. Each dish was great and the plating was elegant. The ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere was very nice. I actually think it can compete with anything in the city.“
“This was my Second time visiting this restaurant, and I brought my guy in to try their food. Ms. Darcy waited on us, and she was warm, and inviting as we walked in. We didn’t even have to get up when our food was ready, Ms. Darcy brought it to us!! He had a catfish dinner, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the chicken wing dinner and it was a hit as well!! We tried the jerk egg rolls as well once we got home and they were good…not spicy enough for my taste though. The atmosphere here was a bit “smoky” I’m sure from the grills but the smoke consumed the dining room atmosphere. Overall, we were pleased with the food and may come back to pick up take out!“
“Wonderful murals on walls, but when it’s dark the lights were that cafeteria bright lights and not warm/inviting. Server was super nice, but refills on salsa were slow. Very accommodating with slight adjustments to meals. Cost of a bottle of Corona Light over $6 - too high and no draft beers at all. Taco chips not my favorite and the guacamole was only so-so. Overall, good but there are so many Mexican options in the area to explore as well.“
“My wife and I visited Pepper Mill on February 1, 2024. Tye restaurant was clean and taken care of. We were immediately acknowledged after entering and seated within a couple minutes. I ordered the Turkey dinner which was recommended by friends. A couple and salad accompanied the meal and it was on special that evening. The soup I selected was cream of chicken rice. Tye flavor was good but I felt it needed to be thinned out. Salad was fresh and enjoyable. The Turkey dinner was thinly sliced from fresh Turkey breast. The meat was tasty and not dry. It was layered over stuffing that was lightly seasoned. I chose mashed potato's and steamed broccoli. The potatoes tasted like they were either from a box or a mix of boxed and fresh. The broccoli was fresh and cooked nice. The Turkey gravy was layered over the potato's and the Turkey. It was flavorful and seasoned nicely. My wife chose the Meatloaf and said it was good also. We both felt the price was reasonable and we would return. Our server was excellent and added to the experience.“
