We've rounded up Moline's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“It's a small building that I'm pretty sure a car ran into, few tables and hard metal chairs... with some of the best food I've had reminds me of my Hispanic step moms cooking, the elote was superb and the El pastor tacos were devoured with gusto. Great bunch of ladies working there definitely will be back for the “
“Las Salsas has some of the best tacos around. The service is quick and friendly. Try the Quesabirrias. It's not on their dine in menu but it is on their Grubhub menu. I consider it a secret menu item. You will find quesabirrias on very few Mexican restaurant menus. They are a cross between tacos and quesadillas, tasty and filling.“
“Travel for work and I can say they are top 2 in my book for chili rellenos!! Also took a bite of my mom’s chimichanga and it was also great! I will be sure to make it my dinner spot after work! Waitress and host were really nice and the inside is nice as well!“
“We definitely went on a busy day and I know the ladies did the best they could. I just wish our group of 12 could have been served at the same time. My table was done eating before our other table even got their food. And I'd never tried corn in a cup and was excited to try with all I'd heard. Never got it. Food was really good though.Parking: Busy street with minimal parking with a small parking lot.“
“La Rancherita 2 is a great choice for Mexican food in the Quad Cities. Their menu is a good mix of authentic Mexican dishes and standard Mexican-American fare. They offer something for everyone at a reasonable price point and the service is always welcoming and friendly. Overall, I feel that the ambiance and service at this location is superior to that of their original restaurant, La Rancherita in Rock Island. The ambiance is more like a fast casual restaurant and less like a taqueria. It also has a better parking lot and the food is equally delicious, if not better. The steak burrito is my go-to. It's a a winner for lunch or dinner! A super-sized flour tortilla filled with thinly sliced steak that is tender and well-seasoned, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. Dine-in or takeout, it's consistently delicious and filling! From an operational standpoint, they have a couple of quirks to be aware of. First of all, it's cash only. They have an ATM in case you're not prepared. Secondly, the waitress will not bring your check to the table. It is awaiting your arrival at the cashier. This makes tipping the proper amount somewhat problematic unless you keep a running tally or like returning to the table to leave a tip. On the other hand, if it's your treat, it makes it convenient to discretely settle the tab and tip afterwards.“
“I've been here many times & they do have good food, but they have no compassion for handicap or disabled people, the cashier saw a disabled person & told him that he still has to wait in line behind all the people even if he was old & disabled!!!“
“After calling 4 taco restaurants who all only took cash I found this gem. And it must’ve been meant to be . Effing delicious !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldve tok a pic but I inhaled them so quick I forgot. Perfectly seasoned. Tacos stuffed fully . Friendly staff and they were on time for my pick up order ! Had the steak street tacos and the chicken tacos. Even the beans and rice were fireeeee!!!! I will 100 percent be back weekly for my Taco Tuesday tradition ! Thank you guys for making my day amazing“
“talk about a racist place to eat. The manager was horrible told my mom this is a Mexican restaurant we don't give senior discounts. unbelievable!! The server told us the pitcher was $15 them we go pay it was $25 the manager was unfriendly. The server left and didn't tell us!! The chip were hard. Hardly no cheese on our nachos. I would never recommend this place.“
“The only reason I gave D'Lua 5 stars is because Google won't let me give them 10 stars. Whenever my wife and I have some free time to have breakfast together, we always go to the closest D'Lua location. Sometimes it's Moline, sometimes it's Bettendorf, sometimes it's downtown Davenport. But it's always D'Lua.“
“This was a spur of the moment food adventure. Quinine from Chihuahua, Mexico. I jjHad a seafood tostada that was scrumptious. My son had enchiladas that were subtly but deliciously seasoned. We'd never been in this restaurant but will be returning. Best meal in months. A pleasure to eat and the owners were very congenial.“
“Better than normal Mexican food, for a good price. My (now) fiancé & I frequented this place once a week for probably six months, having Chino as our server, every time but three. He is THE MAN, and we always look forward to going to see him! Substantial portions, no complaints over here ??“
“Our first time there and not knowing anything about this restaurant we showed up at 4:45 on Saturday. The server sat us pretty quickly in the very front corner booth. We were thankful to have a booth. They were busy. The menu had so many choices. The food was great and large portions. Our server sat us and told us she wouldn’t forget about us. I’m here to tell you she was the wonderful. She was so pleasant, always showed up at the right time, and knowledgeable of the menu. If you go ask for Tina. Well Done“
