I’m grew up in Joliet, but I now live in Denver. As fate would have it, I met and started talking to this beautiful girl from Romeoville. I flew back here in March of 2024 to meet her for the first time and chose Maria’s for our first date (she loves Italian food). Nice place, looked clean and well maintained. White tablecloths. Gianna is a very pleasant hostess and server. Cocktail was mixed well, creamy chicken rice soup was very light on the chicken and rice but had a nice flavor, crab-cakes nicely presented and tasty, shrimp risotto was cooked and seasoned appropriately, contained a good amount of asparagus as described though, there was an excess of butter from cooking the shrimp scampi style. I was just driving through Morris, Illinois, and happened upon this gem!Delicious! I had the chicken piccata. It came with a French onion soup that was just perfect!
