“Great staff, great food, great beverages, and great prices. The next time you’re around Mount Pulaski you need to get in there and just prepare to relax.Parking: There’s quite a bit of parking, but you better get there quick. The bar can get so busy that the parking lot can get full. You may have to park quite ways away. But if the parking lot and parking areas are full, that 1/4 of block walk is absolutely worth it.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is very wheelchair accessible. Plenty of handicap parking area.”
“This is such a cute nostalgic restaurant. I went with a couple of friends and one of them just had a baby. The reason we stopped was he was being fussy and didn't want to be in this car seat anymore. So we stopped and we're pleasantly surprised with delicious food and plenty of it. The waitress was so sweet and kind. We have a lovely time. They also have a drive-thru.Wheelchair accessibility: There were no stairs and the doors were wide. I see no problem getting a wheelchair in”
“Pizza is great, one of our family favorites! Salads are simple but also fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Service is sometimes slow (often there is only one server who also has to bus tables) and food prep always seems slow. If you go with plenty of time, the food is worth the wait.”
“We've often had their delicious baked goods. This time we had the Quiche! So glad we did. It was so creamy & flavorful. Plenty of room near the coffee bar or in the attached room where they roast the beans. We love coffee houses & this one is special. It has a relaxing atmosphere, great baked goods & now we know how delicious their quiche is! Oh, and it's has very good coffee. It is well worth the 35 minutes it takes to drive here. Thank you for friendly service, delightful goodies & consistently good coffee!Kid-friendliness: We often see school age children enjoying a treat with parents or grandparents”
“In town for work and was looking for a good salad. I had the Apple Walnut salad. The portion was a great size and plenty of protein. The staff were friendly and helpful. The salad was amazing, and the price was on the spot.”
“The owners are great people an long time locals, this lil business has changed our town an our option for ice cream an other treats... Best ice cream around an great environment, family-friendly....Kid-friendliness: My kids love it,,, they don't like dairy queen anymore lol”
“In town on business and was looking for something different. I had a sandwich on their homemade bread, potato salad, and a piece of pie. The environment was great, and the staff matched the environment. I loved the sandwich and the potato salad. I'm picky about my coconut pie, so I'm not going to hold that against them. I will definitely return.”
“They have a number of their own very good beers on tap supplemented by good beers from other breweries. They don't serve food so eat before you come or fill up with beer. Trivia ordinarily Wednesday night but I stopped by on a Sunday and played in a special trivia event. Great atmosphere and staff. I strongly recommend this place if you're near Lincoln”
“We ordered cupcake cake for Ollie's birthday , was made into a cars cake. Hillary did a great job decorating and they were delish!!! Thanks again we all including all the kids loved them. Will for sure be using her again!!!”
“Well priced. Food has never disappointed. Got my corned beef and cabbage fix and I couldn’t put down my fork. Service is always great, always an amazing atmosphere. Eating out but never feeling like we’re eating fast food. Just like a home cooked meal always. Love the owners and the ”
“Just a fun easy place. Even when they're crazy busy, there's two people setting, clearing and taking orders. Even when the kitchen has run out of items, they work hard to make sure that you're fed.”
“Rio Grande in Lincoln, IL, offers a fantastic atmosphere complemented by delicious Mexican cuisine. The ambiance creates a welcoming and vibrant experience, while the menu boasts a variety of flavorful dishes that truly capture the essence of Mexican cuisine. We had the sizzling fajitas, and feliz enchiladas, the flavors were very good and well thought out. The combination of great food and a wonderful atmosphere makes Rio Grande a must-visit spot in Lincoln for a memorable dining experience. Not to mention the pitcher sized sodas. Great idea.”
“I hadn't ever had Champs chicken until about a month ago. Their chicken is by far THE BEST I've ever had hands down. It's so crispy and the oil they fry the chicken in literally tastes like butter to me. I would highly recommend anyone that loves other competitors to try this, and then see where you stand. It's amazing!”
“Amazing place, everyone is so accepting! The bartenders are amazing. And the owners are also amazing! 10/10 recommend! They Have some of the best speakers as well musics great! DJ is also awesome”

“The food and service here was great! We called ahead for a large party and they were ready for us when we walked in. I don't have a photo but the double burger was huge and sooooo good!! Everyone enjoyed their food. No complaint! Good for kids for dinner too!”
“It's not a fancy place, but the food is great, and the portions are HUGE! (Especially the Prime rib; even the "small" version is enough to feed two adults.)”
“Here’s my guys mean muggin me for fun. ?Kid-friendliness: Our 2 year old is always happy to eat here. The high chairs, cups with lids, friendly staff make if easy.”
“I ordered to my hotel room and I gave the wrong name..they got it here..it was still hot and AMAZING!!! For what I paid I expect a sub par pie...not the case at all..well worth the price ..underpriced I would ”
“Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. I don’t live in Lincoln so unfortunately I won’t be able to go super often, but I recommend this store to anyone hankering for a fresh donut!!”
“Subway in Lincoln, Illinois offers a satisfying experience. The variety of fresh ingredients allows for customizable and delicious sandwiches. Friendly staff and clean premises contribute to a pleasant visit. Quick service and reasonable prices make it a convenient choice for a quick bite.”
“This isn't your typical Chinese place. It had a small buffet for lunch. The food taste very authentic and reminds me of Chinese restaurant food before buffets took over. The fried rice and egg rolls remind me of what my mother use to make back in the 1970s. Although the buffet is small... the food is awesome, a lot better then most Chinese restaurant buffets..”
“Jimmy John's has consistently been a go-to spot for a quick and delicious meal, and one standout aspect that makes the experience even better is their commendable 10% military discount at this location. This thoughtful gesture not only reflects their appreciation for the service and sacrifice of military personnel but also adds an extra layer of warmth to the overall dining experience. Beyond this considerate perk, the menu's variety, quality ingredients, and the trademark "Freaky Fast" service make Jimmy John's a top choice. It's refreshing to see a brand that not only satisfies taste buds but also demonstrates appreciation for our military community.”
“Fun local ice cream and food stop. Lots of variety including the hard to find "Monkey Tail," a frozen chocolate covered banana. They lost a star only because the homemade coney dog sauce just wasn't very good in my opinion. Won't stop me from trying other menu items though!”
