“We have been searching for decent “Chinese” food since moving to mchenry 8 months ago and NOTHING in the area was even close to being good. This was the first time I’ve had it since moving and I can FINALLY say we found the place. The egg rolls were so good, which is usually my biggest test on a place! The beef egg food young was also great, no big chunks of onions either. It was a good portion of ingredients, and the flavor was spot on. My husband had the chicken fried rice and orange chicken and he said it was really good - he usually says “it was fine” whenever we get Chinese, so this is a big compliment coming from him. The service getting the food was quick and still warm when we got it. I do remember coming here years ago, and remember it being really a great atmosphere and really good. So luckily with Uber Eats, we were able to have it delivered. I am thrilled to say I FINALLY found my go to spot!!!!“

“This restaurant is my favorite treat. The food is so flavorful, good portions, and has always arrived hot upon delivery. I love how there are so many different flavors between the dishes, so I can order a variety. One of my favorites is the butter chicken and dipping the naan bread into the sauce. Yum!!“
“Went here on a Friday night recently for the first time with a friend. The host and the waitress made sure that my first experience would be unforgettable. We received delicious appetizers on the house. Service was probably the best service I've received in a really long time. And most importantly the food was delicious and fresh. I am sometimes leery of having seafood in the Midwest unless it's a fancier place because I worry about freshness. But I don't worry at Bob Chin's because it's huge, always crowded - so you know the sheer volume they do means it's fresh. Service is good. Atmosphere is fun and fast paced.“
“There was a little language barrier between us and our server. We ordered sushi, but at the end of our meal we asked where our sushi was and they told us no one was making sushi that eve. It showed up on our bill too. They took care of it though. The food was delicious and the chef was very entertaining! Our 6 and 3 year old loved the chef's tricks.“
“I came for the first time on a Thursday with my boyfriend! The waitress was super friendly and had a good attitude. The food 10/10. We ordered the fried mojarra, deviled shrimp, and the small tray of crab legs. Instead of rice I ordered pure salad and avocado with the mojarra. Everything is very rich. Then I ordered wings to go and 1 our later I still didn't have my order. The bartender said the kitchen already brought them out. I don't know who they gave my order too but it wasn't me. “Tokio Sake is a special place for our family. When we dine in person, we always find the staff attentive and friendly. You can also watch the sushi chefs meticulously preparing the sushi. They are prompt when we place take out orders. Most important of all, the caliber of the sushi is outstanding. We are a family of 6 and we all rate Tokio Sake sushi as the best in the area. The pizza is the best around. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are fresh. The cheese is high quality and tastes fresh. The problem is the temperature of the restaurant. It's stifling hot. It's a small place, and always crowded. The stagnant air is unbearable. We actually had to leave early because I was feeling faint from the heat. I wish they'd turn on the air or something. The hot atmosphere, coupled with it being a smaller restaurant, and always crowded, is unbearable.“

“No Soup for You!!!! Had dinner at Jameson's last night (3-16-2024). My spouse does not eat dairy. A soup was offered for her meal. Both choices had dairy ingredients. When asked to substitute a salad, we were informed it would cost 3.00. So, no soup for spouse, no salad for spouse. No credit on check for no soup. My wife is not the only person who does not eat dairy. Restaurant showed no flexibiity. While food and service were OK, we will not be back to Jameson's due to their policy. We had been semi-regular patrons, but, no more. The restaurant should offer a soup selection without dairy! Sorry Jameson's you've lost a customer. Your new policy of not substituting something for what a patron can not eat has turned us away.“
