“This is such a lovely place to get pizza and the price is very good we had one in chicago on Milwaukie and Montrose but it closed down now that I found it again this will be my to go for pizza even if I have to drive to the suburbs to get my pizza.“
“Its a good quick bite. Food is consistent. Been stopping by when I'm in the area. But I used to eat here regularly when I worked in the area.Alot of other Al's have closed, I'm happy this one hasn't.Chicago has a lot of Italian Beef places, and reviews for this category is very subjective. But I have always liked Al's over Portillos, Mr.Beef, or Buona. But Johnny's on North Ave will always be top shelf for me.But this Al's has a bigger menu and is on the otherside of town, so if you're in the area swing by for a bite, most people aren't driving to Johnny's from Niles if they weren't planning on it from the start.“
“The restaurant was good and crowded. We went there on a Saturday night, which was to be expected that they would be packed. Our waitress was fantastic. I didn't get her name she was great. Even though the place was so busy, she came by us often to make sure we were doing good! I got the spaghetti and meatballs, and my mother-in-law got the eggplant parmesan. All was delicious. We also got dessert tiramisu and cannoli, YUM.Vegetarian options: Eggplant parmesan was very good.“
“I grew up on this pizza and it's a lifetime all time favorite for me. I just love the super thing crunchy crust. If you are from Italy or have ever even spaghetti you have to try this. Food ten service ten ambiance fifteen (extra points because I grew up near here) cheers.!“
“What an amazing place. I have been coming here since I was a kid and I’m in my 40’s now and it just keeps getting better. Everything from the stuffed pizza to the pasta you honestly can’t go wrong. We have had family parties here and I pick up a stuffed pizza any time I get a craving. The owners are great people so friendly as well as the entire staff. Give it a try you will not be disappointed and can’t go wrong there!“
