In the 6 years I have been staying in this area for work trips, I think I have stayed at every hotel in a 3-4 mile radius of my work office. This one, I had not tried and figured I would despite the higher rates given the walking distance to restaurants and services and my not having a rental. This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. Easily accessible from I-88, the hotel is adjacent to Oakbrook Shopping Center (5 minute walk to Nordstrom's). What was good? All of the employees with whom we interacted were kind and seemed to enjoy working there. The hotel is clean. Our room was very clean. Even the shower was great - thank you for the Mailin+goetz products -- I wish this was for sale in your lobby! The bed was comfortable with substantive pillows.
