So sad they have closed. I loved this restaurant. So fresh and so delicious. Everything was always beautifully prepared. We grabbed so many things to go on their last day. This was one of the best Thai restaurants around and I will sorely miss it!
We are absolutely saddened by the news. Our beloved jewel is closing on Dec 27th. TM Basil has been our goto Thai spot for over 20 years. No one comes close to preparing the Panang Curry consistently and without the peanut butter overwhelming the complex layers and combination of coconut milk and spices. I am forever greatful for having found this restaurant and shared many meals with my 20 yr old daughter. TM Basil is best in class for the dishes we loved. Goodbye Panang Curry...read full review

I highly recommend one particular dish from this place. TM Basil’s take on Khao Soi is the best one I had in Chicagoland. Golden noodle submerged in creamy yellow coconut curry with a touch of cilantro and lemon juice is irresistible to my taste bud. Usually I paired the noodle with chicken satay for one satisfying meal.
