Wow, what a hidden gem this place is!! Ambiance, when you walk in you're met with beautiful decor, amazing smells of yummy foods, and friendly smiling staff...and a gorgeously decorated and fully stocked bar area. We neglected Amerikas for over a year after moving back to Oak Park and regretted it once we gave it a try. Every single thing we ate was incredible! What looked like a medium-smallish portion wound up being VERY filling, so I could see myself coming back to just get a starter for lunch too. Oh, and the mocktails aren't just juice! Serious bonus points for that.

The first thing that I noticed about Amerikas was the super lively and bright ambiance. I went I on a Saturday night with my wife, so I wasn't surprised by all of the people dining and having a good time, and as I ate my dinner I definitely learned why. The decor is bright and fun.
