Our cook made everything the opposite of how it should've been cooked: shrimp was waY overcooked until it was hard & tough & the steak was raw! The women packing our left over food was rude & snappy with her responses. This place has sunken very low.

Went here for hibachi lunch to celebrate my brothers birthday. It had been years since the last time I had eaten here. From the food, prices, and staff I can tell you it’s not the same hibachi place I remember going to. And I will never be a customer there again.We had made a reservation after seeing their reasonably priced menu for hibachi lunch on their website. Once we were seated and given our drinks, we noticed the lunch menu prices were about 25% higher than what the menu on their website showed. We could’ve easily just got up and left, but the dinner was planned and we did not want to be rude to the restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the food at all. The fried rice was plain and chicken was extremely dry. They didn’t even offer a birthday dessert which I thought was unfortunate.Their menu clearly states they automatically add gratuity to parties of 8 or more, and my family was a party of 6. They still added gratuity without telling so we ended up paying that on top of tipping. Extremely sketchy and unprofessional. We called afterwards to express our concerns about the misleading menu prices on their website and kept getting different answers. One lady said to not go off Google for their prices and we explained to her we pulled the menu from their direct website. The man who spoke to us later told us their website isn’t updated. So why wasn’t this told to us prior when we called to make the reservation? We were then told to dispute our order with our credit card company and then got hung up on.Definitely not the Fuji Steakhouse I remember it being years ago and I don’t recommend anyone to eat there. Use your money elsewhere and go to different hibachi place that doesn’t mislead menu prices and sneakily add gratuity charges to parties less than what they claim they do it to. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I love this place, come here for a lot of family birthdays. The owners are great people and the foods never a disappointment. Good first date, romantic night out, even a little bit after mid afternoon it’s really a great form of entertainment as your food is prepared and kids love the art of cooking amazing food with such talents that differ from chef to chef, saying you’ll always get a chef whose routine is something different or new vs the last meal you ate here. Love it. Long time customer.Parking: Plenty of parking in a large lot off la grange road, all free just a standard plaza of small businessesKid-friendliness: It’s definitely upper scale, kids are not a problem at all. I’d just be aware when spending money on quality food and an experience with other patrons would be best be suited for children who don’t throw a fit or cry. I hate saying it but everyone is spending good money on great food and amazing entertainment. I’m not against kids. I’d just make sure that it’s not just a privilege for kids but also adults. They 100% welcome kids but just might be better earlier in the day with them.

Delivered wrong food. Tried to correct mistake by taking meal back. Then they delivered only the entree which was overcooked and greasy. The waiter was extremely apologetic.
