Lumes is probably my fave go to breakfast/brunch sit down restaurant in Orland. I've eaten here numerous times and I haven't had a bad meal. I usually get either the veggie omelette, veggie scrambler, or egg white scrambler which comes with fruit and an English muffin. The portions here are huge. With the veggie scrambler and omelette I usually get a side of pancakes, either regular buttermilk or sometimes blueberry ones. I do love the pancakes at Lumes. They are light and fluffy! I've also had soup and salads at Lumes and the salads are huge as well and the soup was hot and fresh. The coffee is hot and endless too. It gets crowded and usually there's a wait on the weekends but they are quick and you don't have to wait overly long. Sometimes we will sit at the counter if there's space and eat. The servers are always pretty fast and always pretty good about refilling beverages. Lumes is an Orland breakfast staple and always busy for a reason!Vegetarian options: Pancakes, fruit, soup, saladParking: Free parking lot but it's can be crampedKid-friendliness: There's a kid menu and lots of kids eating there
Amazing service, fantastic food and friendly staff! Extremely accommodating. Arrived with a party of thirty plus, they were able to seat us willingly and immediately. We were in and out in less than an hour. Thank you Lumes staff for being so accommodating to our hockey team and family!

I’ve been going here for years with a great experience until recentlyThe owner retired and it’s not the same experience. The turkey sausage was rubbery this time, eggs over cooked, toast and hash browns where greatI noticed a much more casual atmosphere immediately. The old saying when the cats away the mice will play it true here. Waitress was amazing.

First we ask for an additional straw, took the server 25 minutes for that. After we watched 3 parties come in after us get their meals, the server proceeds to say they can't find your ticket. At this time at least 45 mins to almost an hour we waited. I will never return to this establishment.

Lumes is always delicious. Great food and definitely great pancakes. Service was excellent, and food was ready really quick. Prices are average, but the quality of the food justifies the price. Highly recommend you give Lumes a try.
