I mean, it's a staple hotdog place of Palatine. Good food, good service, the inside has a fun atmosphere with all the cameras and photos everywhere. They have fun seasonal items as well. It's just a good hometown hotdog joint!
There is a lot of hate on here for Photo's, and it is understandable. This is a unique place that does business a little differently than other places. Once you understand how everything works, you start to like it a lot more. First off, the food. The food here is pretty good. I really like their grilled chicken, it has a ton of flavor, and when you get it on a pita, for instance, they don't skimp on the amount of chicken. I would give the atmosphere 6 stars if I could, Photos is a Palatine classic with great grill food, classic photography lining the walls, and a lineup of shakes that will keep you coming back for more.
