Kids enjoy watching their sandwich being made and the meat/cheese being sliced.As you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly staff. The employees are courteous and kind. They were their to help guide you through the ordering process. You don't get that very often in fast food places. We typically get the side eye because our kids are distracting us (LOL), but Palatine JM set the bar high on customer service and very pleased with the staff.We ordered:2x Ham & Cheese Kids meal (includes chips or cookie + drink)Regular Chipotle Cheesesteak on Rosemary Parmesan BreadKids rating on their sandwich - TWO THUMBS UPThe young lady who made their sandwich was very nice and made the kids were taken care with their meals.My sandwich was the..........BOMB! I could go for another one LOL.You can tell the staff cares about their work based on how the restaurant looks inside. This location was CLEAN and SPOTLESS!! Tables were clean and nothing on the floor. No overflowing garbage cans and the soda counter was clean and clear of any sticky soda spills. We also had the opportunity to meet the NEW OWNER of this location. He was very nice to take the time to speak to us. He made sure we enjoyed our food. “My go to is their Italian herb and cheese chicken bacon and ranch footlong. With MissVickie’s jalapeño chips. I also recommend their the ultimate BMT, BLT, rotisserie style chicken and sweet onion teriyaki.For cookies I recommend their Macadamia nut, Raspberry cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies.“

Typical Jimmy John's so thankfully can't find a problem with the food. Have been a few times when in the neighborhood and have no problem stopping by.“

The staff was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered there, I ordered through the app. Both were handled quickly and correctly. Everything was good here. “This is our favorite carry out restaurant. It's cheap, it's pretty healthy depending on what you pick and it's located conveniently.The staff member when we dropped in to pick up our dinner was chilling by the window on their phone. There was nobody else there, it was mid afternoon. I get it, the place is slow there's nothing to do. Put a stool behind the register and at least park yourself where you look like you're running the store. It was rather unprofessional of a greeting to have a guy jump up from supposedly a break go wash his hands and quickly get ready to serve food.Ok, so unprofessional greeting aside the food was great. They have my preferred toppings on a veggie lovers in the computer and they follow them well, it's assembly line perfection. I can go back one month to another month, same taste, same quality, same exact what I asked for. This is one sandwich shop with a reliable flavor that you can reproduce easily for yourself and others. Because everything is easy to work with you can create a custom sandwich of your own creation and then share it with others and expect them at a Subway across the country to get the same sandwich provided they follow the computer.The ambiance is unimpressive, everything about the location is unimpressive. It's a carved out hole in the wall of a mini shop, nothing inspiring, nothing historic. The old location over by Citibank, that was a hole in the wall with a story to it, it was basically a flagship restaurant of that strip mall. Honestly, the decor in this location feels just as dated as the old location, and this is supposedly a new location.Unimpressive decor, not the most professional of staff, but an assembly line reliable sandwich shop and a bargain of one at that, ya just can't turn your nose up to Subway.“
“First time visiting this spot despite passing by this area so often. I was quite surprised they had a pretty vast sandwich menu! I had the seafood and crab sandwich with the provolone, and it was delicious. It didn't have a fishy smell or fishy taste (just a seafood taste). The sandwich was filled with a lot of ingredients, too, and was toasted very well! The staff were super friendly, so nice, and they were making the sandwiches fast! The atmosphere was very inviting and you could tell a lot of locals come here to eat! I was in the mood for a sandwich but didn’t want to go to any of the national chains, tried Dario’s on a whim and I’ll definitely be back with friends and family to try. 10/10 place to get a delicious hot sandwich.“
