We came in with our kids and the spilled water all over the table, we felt so bad the server just came right away saying don’t worry I’ll get. She was was kind. We ordered sushi and chickenramen. “Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“
“Been going to this place for the past 10 years and they never disappoint. Inside is very clean and welcoming, it has a big seated area if you want to dine in. Service is always on point and the NEW boba drinks are delicious! It's great to have more affordable boba options in town.“
