Probably had I known that we didn't have servers anymore at steak and shake and we had to order at the kiosk I probably would have thought twice about stopping in. The fries were cold the bacon cheeseburger was average at best and the shake came in a carry-out cup, well I wanted to have a nice steak and shake experience it turned out to be less than fast food.
Honestly the place is disgusting, employees just standing around on the phone with tables absolutely disgusting smeared with sauce, trash all over the place, I had to clean a table to even have a seat nobody looked or even said hello soon entering , my order was made perfectly how ever besides my shake missing its extra cherry then the man arguing a bit with me over it instead of just making it correct. The food was pretty good. Once you place order at the kiosk, it didn't take long for them to complete your order. Their condiment, cup, and silverware counter left a lot to be improved upon, for sure! Getting someone's attention who actually works there is not an easy task either. Also, if you dine in and want to take your extra food home, you may end up taking many more bags than you should need, because they only have small sandwich styrophome boxes to put food in.
