“I only recently checked out this place, and I'm so glad I did. The prices are pretty typical but less expensive for way better food than other places nearby (looking at you, Busy Bee). The breakfast is really good and their pancakes are great. The dinner I had the other day (The Hammer.. Who wouldn't want a burger AND a reuben sandwich combined? Amazing idea!) was otherworldly! If you're looking for a place to go for dinner, definitely check this place out! The bar staff was awesome and friendly, and made excellent drinks as well.”

“First time here. Probably won’t return. Friendly attentive employee. Prices are reasonable. Seating is upstairs. It’s very clean. In my opinion, it needs some color or some music or some plants or something. They were out of lemonade, and for some strange reason they’re out of napkins - someone needs to do the inventory. Berries tasted off. Ice cream was a little freezer burnt. No trash cans only recycle bins so you have to wonder if you should throw your plastic and trash in there. They have a drive thru but not easily handicap accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a brick ramp but would be difficult. Also only upstairs seating”

“Very friendly people work here and make you welcome from the get-go.Had the chorizo casserole. It was delicious and filling. Had a $2 16oz Hamms as well. They had PBR and Stroh's as well.In addition, they have poker machines for entertainment.”

“We stopped at Harts Saloon Monday for some dinner; we were greeted by the employees and invited to sit anywhere! Sam, our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very neat and comfortable!What really blew us away was chef Matt! He came to our table, thanked us for coming and chatted with us about the menu and his personal favorites.We took his recommendations and oh goodness! Both were amazing!It isn’t often the chef comes to your table and chats with you, makes recommendations, asks how you liked it and invites you back-with sincerity!We will definitely be back!!!”

“Amazing! I'm not from this area and didn't want fast food. Accidentally found this place and MAN am I glad I did! Very nice people who work there. She immediately told me about their soups of the day. Had the Spotted Cow Cheddar Beer soup with their homemade pretzel croutons. OMG the best! Also had the Turkey Swiss Mushroom Panini, fantastic and so fresh. Will definitely be back if I'm out here ??”

“Ok so first things first this was my first visit..... the Owner is awesome!! The employee that made my samich was awesome as well ! Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! “I brought my mom here today and we both had Reshmi Curry with Eggplant-She had it with the chickpea noodles and I had it with rice. They were absolutely delicious, savory meals. We both cleaned our plates. And I’m a child-sized person, so that’s saying something.I certainly can’t complain about the service or the price either. I was also happy to find a restaurant that didn’t have any steps, since my mom uses a walker.”

“They make their waffle cones fresh everyday. Their ice creams are so good in quality, got to try blueberry waffle in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Price is also reasonable. They relocated from Main Street to a different location now and has plenty of parking.”

“Been going to this bakery since moving to McHenry this past April, we’ve only ever gotten donuts and more specialized desert treats but my boyfriend got my birthday cake there in July either vanilla or marble - it was SO good and I’m not a big cake person.. well the other day I decided to purchase his birthday cake there - got a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting… best cake I’ve ever had. And I’m not big on chocolate cake either. Everyone loved it, and thank god we still have a piece left over ? wonderful customer service and pricing too!”

“I’ve been taking our young family here for several years and it’s well worth the 35 minute drive north to get there. I love the Philly cheesesteak brat. Wife gets the shroomwurst and kids get kid menu items which they love. Tonight I had the Seasonal St Paddy’s day Reubenwurst. Their pretzel buns are delicious and we have never been disappointed with anything we’ve ordered.”

“So I got a sandwich from here on the way to an appointment with my son. The sandwich was made fresh order. Nothing pre-sliced or premade. The food is delicious. Have a cute little deli with lots of options. Definitely a nice local spot that I like to see stick around, I do like all the stuff they had in the store. I do plan on going back to try some of the products to make it home but sandwiches are good. Definitely recommend going and checking this place out and supporting some local. The staff was friendly and attentive to my knee. It was the first custom of the day.”
