Wine Meiomi and Malvasia dolce Brooklyn was amazing recommend the mal!Bread at the table- French bread with a delicious olive oil dressingLamb loli very tender flavorful the sweet notes with very delightfulGrilled squid - first bite not fishy if you’re a texture person it might be a bit strange but absolutely delicious sauce accompanied it’s amazing has a mustard zing to it but ends a bit burntChicken parm- very cheesy fresh chicken crispy, pastaWagyu brussels sprouts- crunchy outer layer with a sour note. Meat- medium rare so flavorful wish we got medium instead but so good and sides go so well with it.Wrap up- solid 8/10
We walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly hostess. After a long day of work it was nice to enjoy dinner in Benny’s dining room. Starting with the delicious complementary bread and olive oil. Our waitress was the perfect amount of outgoing and she was very attentive. The soup and salad were both yummy! And our main course was also wonderful. It was also nice to say hi to Benny, as he came to our table to make sure all was well and it was!Parking: The parking lot was spacious and well laid out.

Had a pan pizza last night.Crust was very heavy and way to thick 3/4" 2.5 " from edge. Not like Chicago pizza which is light and airy. Had thin crust some weeks ago too thin. I always try to order hand tossed. This type of crust seems to be a Rockford thing, new to area.

When made reservations I didn’t get a table they had me an my girlfriend just standing around looking crazy I made reservations for 7pm over the weekend an I didn’t like how they did my reservation why would you have me waiting and the table wasn’t even ready I just feel like I was treated right at all an they had other people sit down before me an my girlfriend an we was there for them I’m pretty sure my reservation was before them but gotta sit before me why because I’m black an trying to do something Wonderful for my girlfriend for valentine’s Day weekend
