So I been looking for a great pastrami sandwich for quite some time. I lived in LA for 14yrs and visited Langer's Deli on Alvarado for years and been looking to replica that. I heard great things about Jason's Deli pastrami so I decided to try. With drink and chips it was jurt over $17 so I was expecting to be blown away. The sandwich is quite small and the side was a choice of chips. For nearly 20 bucks I was expecting a loaded pastrami but what I got waa a small sad grocery store looking pre packaged sandwich. Quite disappointing. I am mid 40's and felt like the youngest person in the dining area which is fine but i felt like bingo was about to begin. Salad bar looked good, place was clean and service was decent. My search will continue for the Langer's experience but Jason's deli is not for me. It was busy so many people didn't seem to mind. Maybe a signature sandwich may be the way to go if I come back.

Ordered in for business lunch and got the Southwest Chicken bowl, side of corn muffins and a brownie. Could only eat a few bites of the bowl. They forgot to add chicken and the rest of the ingredients were bland along with something that made the whole thing bitter and sour...and no...it wasn't lemon. I relied on the corn muffins at this point but they seemed stale and very dry. I drank so much water to prevent me from choking. Not exaggerating here. Then lastly, the brownie was a bit disappointing. It was stored in the fridge so I got it pretty cold and solid. I'm being particular here, but I like my brownies room temp, fudgy with a bit of a cakey fluffiness to it. These just seemed so processed, cold, and dense. It was a lackluster disappointing meal.

Omgosh!!! My husband and I took a walk cause waiting for our car to get fixed and came upon this gem!!! It was the most delicious, refreshing and the salad bar was super yummy. Everything was fresh. Will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches and such!! Highly recommend this place. Service was great!!! Did I mention the salad bar? Yes!!! Our new go to place when we’re in town. Thanks Jason’s Deli…you rock!!!Also the restaurant was super clean even the salad bar!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.!!!!!
