So I have gone to Kobe’s for years in the mall I literally go to the mall just to get their food sometimes and my girlfriend and I had gone there today cause it’s been a long time since we have. I ordered the sesame chicken like I always have and when I got my plate I could already see it looked different the sauce and rice both looked different but I took a bite dispute my hesitation of it’s looks and it was disgusting the rice the chicken the sauce all was absolutely horrible. I had spent $25 on the meal and I felt it would be ok to trade it in for a different order and the cashier wanted me to repay for the new meal and argued with me but the cook had made it anyway and replace it and I was grateful and thanked him but just as I walk away he gets screamed at In Japanese. The food is terrible the customer service even worse so not go here. I am so disappointed in how this restaurant has become and I had to share this

First Timer after living around the corner for years. Came in the visit and meet some friends. Good god! What is the point of a reservation when it still takes 45 mins to get seated. We ended up not doing the hibachi part and just sushi. Terrible sushi! It was awful, the service was terrible. Go to WOW sushi, less than a half mile from this gross place off Randall.

Terriyaki chicken made me very sick. I had to go to the ER my stomach pains were so bad. Health dept. should just shut them down for good. Some of these other comments alone show a complete disregard for food safety. Disgusting.

I've loved this spot for the last decade+. They don't have a huge menu by any means, but the few options that they do have they do really well. Chicken teriyaki is the mainstay and for good reason. Perfectly grilled chicken, fried rice, fresh vegetables, and a sweet teriyaki sauce poured over it all makes for a great explosion of flavor. Whenever I come to Cherryvale mall and need something to eat, this is my first choice. The only downfall of this place are the long lines/wait time, but it is worth the wait if you have the time.
