This is my favorite restaurant, but since they stopped cash in the drive thru, it has made it very difficult to eat there. I drive a school bus and sometimes, I don't have time to go inside. They're slow anyway but even more slow on the inside. Don't get me wrong the food is more than worth the time, I just don't have time for the inconvenience of going inside

It took quite some time to receive my order. The restaurant wasn't extremely busy at the time and the drive thru was steady but not overwhelming. The food wasn't worth the wait.Parking: Very limited parking for dining in customers.

Portillos is clean!!!!! I worked there, they have 2 people cleaning & sanitizing every night. Plus management doesn't allow dishwasher to leave dirty dishes overnight. Food is awesome!!!

**Update** they replaced the salad bar with a grab and go wall of knickknacks and prepackaged food. The salad choices now are pre packaged, un-customizable messes. They now have a soda fountain in the lobby, so of course every kid wants to fill thier own creating a massive pile of people all fighting to get a refill. The salt and pepper shakers are gone as well.New onion ring are awesome! The rodeo burger is good but the bbq sauce tases like cocktail sauce mixed with ketchup.Good food with a friendly staff in a clean environment. Definitely will be returning and I highly recommend the Big Beef with mozzarella! Pickle spears on the side were crunchy and delicious. Fries were nice and salty and the onion rings were new to us, but very crisp.

OMG I love this place! So I like to get together with friends and family order food and do review. It's busy place, people talking, laughing having fun while eating inside or outside. Great place to bring your family. The food is so good ? The cake was so good,I had to buy a whole one ?. It's nice for a casual date too. My favorite meal is the Chicago Style Polish and fries . My 2nd is the double cheeseburger meal with fries and a fat Sprite to wash it down with! Food brings family and friends together. Breaking bread together. The salads are good too. I always bring my Wishbone Italian salad dressing with me if I get a salad anywhere. Check em out and enjoy it.

Always seem to have issues with the website. Today I was not able to order regular size fries, I kept getting pushed to the 19.95 fries. Almost 10.00 in fees! Apart from tip. This is absolutely ridiculous! I love the food here. Been a huge fan since I lived in Schaumburg over 25 years ago. I was so excited when Rockford finally got Portillos. But it seems whenever my co workers and I try to place a lunch order we run into some issue or another. We no longer bother to call, as staff seems condescending and not helpful. Food arrived cold. Order was not correct. My fish sandwich is drowning in tarter sauce, and the lettuce leaf is wilted. The bun is soggy and fell apart. Fries are COLD AND HARD. SO SO DISSAPOINTED!!!!
