I used to be a fan of this place but the big girl with a loud mouth dark hair and chip on her shoulder that works there killed the atmosphere for me. The last couple times the bloody Mary's have not been very good and that's my favorite thing there. So combine that with the bartenders bad attitude there's really no reason to go anymore ?.

Horrible service!! Had to wait almost an hour for the special. Had to go to the counter looking for our food. The server was very nonchalant about where our food was. Other tables were getting food and were finished eating long after we had ordered. We will never return. Save your money and drive a little further to champaign!!!!

First time for me at Buford's Pub, my family had each been there before. My mom and I were greeted by a very friendly waitress and the bar dog. The bar was full, but she would get us a table as soon as she could. So we waited at the bar. We were still waiting for two others and not in a hurry. While waiting, we saw wonderful looking cheeseburgers going out to tables.It is a great bar with several tables and very friendly people. I and my mom ordered the breaded pork tenderloin- it was not only gigantic but delicious! My SIL ordered the half order of chicken nachos- it was huge! We were all surprised about the nachos. My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it looked delicious.We sat and ate our lunch and had a great time!I will be back to try the cheeseburgers!

Extremely bad day to go. They had a car show in town, it took almost an hour to get our drinks and 2 hours to get our food. The burgers were good, the tenderloins were overcooked.

Nice, very typical bar with a large sandwich menu. It advises itself with a first responders theme. The dining area is sufficiently removed from the bar so you could comfortably hold a conversation without yelling. The sandwiches were tasty and large enough for a dinner. Sadly the service was not great for a nearly empty restaurant. Wasn't able to get a refill until the meal was finished. Also, an added 3% for using a credit card which we were not told in advance. If you're looking for a sleepy farm town off the beaten path, this is for you, just bring cash!
