I sat for 45 minutes alone with my baby. I was not given a high chair, nobody talked to me, somebody took my drink order at the 30 minute marker and never came back with it. The people that were sat at the same time as me, got their food, ate it, and were paying while I had just gotten chips and salsa from someone who dropped it off at my table when I first sat down. They were serving people on the other side of the restaurant that cane in later me too, so I decided to just give up on eating here. It's 8 o'clock, I have a baby, I don't live in town. I was looking forward to sitting down and eating, but instead I wasted almost an hour and went to dairy queen instead.

By far the best service I’ve ever experienced. The workers were nice and quick to get to us. We got drinks and our food literally within 10 ish minutes of just sitting down. Got there at 6:15 and was out before 7. Food tasted amazing, definitely a 5 star dine in! :)))

Ordered combo fajitas. Completed flavorless. Tasted just like green peppers. Beef looked undercooked. Was gray, not brown and chicken was white, not a hint of brown like it had been grilled. French fries were old and hard. Not crispy. Like they’d been sitting for hours.

Great fajitas... will be back again for sure! Guacamole was off the chart too... and I'm very picky about my guacamole!

El Toro is where you need to go when craving delicious Mexican food! I have never been disappointed with the quality of food. Staff is superb at customer service and so nice. It can get pretty loud on the weekends with families/friends but they do offer outdoor seating if you find it too loud inside.Vegetarian options: I am not a vegetarian but as I was looking at menu they have a designated vegetarian menu. The menu had several options to choose from.

Firstly, whilst placing a pickup order via the phone, courtesy's such as "have a nice day, goodbye" are the last thing on their minds. Instead, a heavy slam of the phone is all one should expect to hear. Secondly, while I was in the restaurant paying for my order, some bald dude with a tude walked nonchalantly and without any haste towards me and mumbled inaudibly at me. At this point, I just told him my order number and paid the man. And lastly, the cherry-on-top of this subpar experience, the dude decided it was alright to say absolutely nothing at all at the end of the transaction. No eye contact, nothing. Great customer service, if it's Opposite Day... food was pretty much on par with the service as well. Super Americanized & inauthentic. Won't be going back

Good service though the food was just not good. The rice & beans were off color & bland. The "enchilada" had what tasted like spaghetti sauce on it. The flavor on everything was just off. I'm willing to bet the kind folks working prepare their own food completely different to how it's served. Definitely worth the drive to Champaign-Urbana for authentic Mexican food.
