“Bobo’s Barbecue recently catered our daughter’s wedding reception. They were punctual and efficient. The pulled pork, smoked turkey, mac & cheese, and green beans were delicious. We had SO MANY compliments on the food! We would definitely recommend Bobo’s.“
“Chose the salmon sandwich with mustard sauce based upon another review, and it was spectacular!The bun was thinner, moist, soft and the PERFECT compliment to the meat. The mustard sauce had just the right abount of kick.My bf ordered the chips, and Brisket Queso...chips (fried fresh onsite) were a tasty... EXCELLENT...warm, on the thinner side with just a hint of sweet and slightly salted to perfection. The QUESO dips was on the lighter sideAtmosphere was a 4 because it presents a little stark. Fluorescent lighting and church benches for booths... small bar at the entrance separate from dining room. Lots of TVs to watch the game.Food was unexpectedly a 5 star experience! “Been here several times and every time, the food and service has been fantastic. The steak is always cooked well and the sides are good as well such as the chili and loaded potato. Their quality is better than some other steakhouses I've been to and the presentation looks great so I can tell they put effort in their food.“
“If you are traveling and like looking for mom and pops it's worth leaving the interstate a little ways . Smoke and Shines bologna sandwich sets it apart from a lot of mom and pop bars and restaurants. It's very warm and comfortable and friendly. “You can't say you've had ribs until you've been here. And from there on, this place will be the one to beat. Best ribs I've ever had bar none and I've eaten at about every Chicago rib joint! Meat falls off the bone. Served on great tasting seasoned fries and you choice of sauce (I did the hot). You won't be disappointed!“

“Went to the new Hickory River in West Champaign tonight for the first time. Honestly, I didn't even realize that they had built one out there. It was excellent food as always, and the atmosphere was also very well executed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely returning, and if you're out and about, it's more than worth the visit.“
“We ordered the hamburger, rib tips, pulled pork and a polish. Everything was delicious. My son said it is the best burger in town. The fries are fantastic. The service was friendly and fast. The sauce ( I got mixed) was perfect for me. I highly recommend them and will be going back soon to try the Sloppy Sooie.“
“My Dad loved the rib tips that you guys prepared giving him the gristle pieces but the french fries he said why did you switch to these shoe strings and the puffy ones were a lot better he missing them..next time just give him the tips keep the fries because you guys should not cut back on quality and then the price is still the same. Otherwise bring back the old French fries shoe strings are for McDonald's.“
“The food overall is decent as far as the barbecue category goes. Most of the staff are in the back working the kitchen. We ordered up front and then waited to pick up our food at the counter as the restaurant is cafeteria style. The bar tender stopped in on and off to check on our drinks. The portions are huge which makes up for the rest!“
“I hadn't ate here for a few year's and took my wife today. We both had Ribeyes, Stuffed Mushrooms and Shrimp. Everything was very good! So much so that I asked the waitress to tell the grill cook the steak was great. She was very nice and very prompt. Nice atmosphere.“
