The food was fine but they messed up and swiped my card for someone else’s food. When I called them they wouldn’t do anything to fix it. This place cost me $$$.

Amazing service, great food, easily best kbbq in the area. Very much worth the price as the serving sizes are huge and still so delicious. Server was extremely nice and went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Would highly highly recommend to anyone looking for a good kbbq spot in CU.

Great food and friendly service. Always a range of side dishes and very good vegetarian options. On a cold and rainy night, their sundubu jjigae is probably the best dinner in town.

Dietary restrictions: Most things are gluten free but be prepared to spend money. If you grill there is an automatic 18% gratuity and you have to pay extra for lettuce!!

This is a hidden gem of Savoy (really in all of CU). My partner and I went there on a date night in early December 2023 and the food and service were so good, we decided to bring our 7 & 10 year old kids for a New Year's Eve family date. We've tried the Korean sushi and Tofu Vegetables Hot Stone Bibimbap the first time, both delish. Tonight we all shared the Bulgogi BBQ (grilled at the table), Soybean Paste Stew, Beef Fried Rice and Beef Yakisoba. Our 10 year old ordered the Beef Yakisoba and his plate was the shinning star out of four amazing plates. The side dishes were awesome as well!We didn't know how to shut off the grill, as the knobs are all in Korean. In the minute that we realized our Bulgogi was done to the minute it took us to flag down the waitress, a lot of the seasoning was quite burnt on the grill plate. We felt so bad, but the ladies were so kind and had a good chuckle when they saw our son was Google translating the grill knobs when they arrived. They gave us Choco-pies as a special NYE treat. It was a perfect meal, fun and hip atmosphereand, and fantastic service. Couldn't recommend this place more!Kid-friendliness: It's well buffered between the booths, so you can't hear when kids are loud. The staff were very kind to our kids and brought extra bowls for them to try all the foods.

Told the waitress that I could not eat spicy food and she served me seafood dish that was extremely hot and terrible. They also add on 18% service charge and the service was terrible.Vegetarian options: Poor menu selectionDietary restrictions: I am a vegetarian and they refused to make accommodations because they said they were to busy!

Ah what a little hidden gem. I came out to Savoy for a local premiere for a feature film, You're OUT!, that we shot in the area and my partner and I were so hungry. After getting gas we decided to stop by to Star BBQ and we're so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, authentic vibes, the quick service, and the fact that the space was full of Korean folks. Always a good sign of a good korean restaurant. We even got our food super fast because they knew we were going to the theater and didn't have much time to eat. Also, they have kim chee pizza. If I was in town longer I would definitely try their pizza! Apparently it's a hot item there and very popular.

Smelled good when I walked in. Always a good sign. Wanted Korean fried chicken because I heard the one by DQ was really good. They were closed on Wednesday! But sign said try the Star restaurant by Schnucks. Are they related?Got Bulgoki bibimbap came with delicious veggies and kimchi. Very nicely done and flavorful. The chicken wings were ok. I would try it again.

The quality doesn’t justify the hefty price they put on the menu, additionally, the 18% gratuity fee was enforced and we had to call them to just fill the water, totally unacceptable.I’d recommend Star Karaoke right next to them instead of this one
