“We visited this restaurant for my wife's birthday. The atmosphere was ok with attempts to make it look authentic Japanese. There's a small fish pond in the middle of the restaurant and cozy sunken booths to get that seated on the floor vibe. We came for sushi and were not disappointed. It was all fresh and seemed very authentic. Many places make sushi but Daruma's sushi seemed somewhat different... stepped up. The fish pieces on the Nigiri were larger. We tried some different pieces and there were Maki combinations that were fresh and different than the norm. My only complaint about the place was that it was either under construction or was just a bit run down. When you first walk in there were things piled into the corner of the bar area, there was a space heater in the middle of the room we were seated in to warm it up, and the bathroom was very rundown and in need of a makeover... fresh paint and an overall cleanup. The place needed a good dusting. Aside from the cosmetic issues, the food was excellent and well made. For my wife's birthday, they brought her out some green tea cheesecake that was very good. It was a nice end to a nice evening.“
“Hidden Gem… my sister, daughter and I were out shopping when we drove past this restaurant. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. Everything was delicious and amazingly prepared. This place was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return.“
“Service and atmosphere was nice. Sushi was tasty. I liked the volcano. I also enjoyed the appetizers. I tried the Misso soup, the calamari and the veggies roles. They also have individual sushi pieces which I wish I noticed them first before I order the other stuff. It is very very price. I paid rounded 41 dollars just for my self. 28 rounded all you can eat which is 27 something dollars plus a drink. I order tea and tip. Taxes were rounded 4 dollars. 40 for 1 person al you can eat buffet too expensive. Some sushi was no real sushi but it was tasty.“
“The only negative thing I will say about it is the music was turned up a little too loud.Aside from that, everything we had was incredible. Our 8 year old daughter inhaled her chicken gyoza & chicken teriyaki rolls. We ordered the King Lobster, Mango Tango, Boston & Philadelphia rolls and they were all delicious. Will definitely remember this place the next time we're here from WI.“
“My new favorite sushi place! The service is super kind and welcoming. They have such a wide variety of sushi as well as other dishes- all at an incredibly fair price! We ordered a few appetizers, rolls, and nigiri. Everything was so tasty and fresh! And even came out quickly!“
“A very unique dining experience for those who want to try something different. Instead of ordering from a server, there are screens next to the booth to order from. Plates can range, but most simple plate were pretty cheap and great. Lots of fun to experience!Kid-friendliness: Robots deliver drinks to the tables so it is extra fun for the kids! Of course, there is the revolving belt of food that kids love to watch go by. There are also little toys given out when a certain number of plates are ordered.“
“Great food at great prices. I ordered the beef bibimbap (forgot what it was called on the menu) and it was honestly the best I've ever had. Our server, Mary, was frequently checking in to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!“
“We ordered sushi for take out from here on a whim (after our regular place turned out so busy on Good Friday that they disconnected their phone and turned off online ordering). They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. Everything was fresh and yummy - I also feel like the specialty roll portions were very sizeable. Will definitely come back again to try some of the bento meals and udon noodles! Thanks :)“
