“I was so excited to take my son here. This has been my fav restaurant since the late 90s!The best Thai restaurant in Chicagoland. They have lots of meat free options. My personal favs are their spicy tofu & the spicy tom yum soup. It is SOOO DELICIOUS!!“
“This was our first visit to Big Bowl. Our server showed us the options on the menu and explained how to order. Appetizers were good but the Chef's Choice Stir fry with shrimp was outstanding. We chose the Shanghai garlic ginger sauce and they prepared the vegetable fried rice with brown rice, as we requested, as a healthier choice. The chicken wonton soup was delicious. So we ordered s hot snd sour soup to go with our leftovers. All around our service was very very good. (Apple A ? Was our server) We observed that once a table ordered, the hot, freshly prepared entrees came out in less than 10 minutes. This is a Diversified menu of Chinese and Thai food with mix and match options. We will be returning soon.“
“I couldn’t wait to post on here. We had a girls night at my house last night and after quickly reading some reviews we landed on here for a pick up order. The food wasn’t ready when we arrived. We waited another 10-15 min but the staff was so nice and apologized because they were so busy- I love seeing small businesses thrive so I didn’t mind. It was worth every minute of the extra wait. Every single thing we got was amazingggg. Not one thing disappointed. Everyone was raving. I truly think the best crab rangoon I’ve ever had. We will definitely be making this a new favorite spot.“
“What an amazing experience! Thai Siri Restaurant gets a perfect 5/5 for both food, service, and friendliness. Even coming from California with its vibrant Thai food scene, this place stands out. They go above and beyond, providing dried chili flakes, chili oil, and chili sauce for takeout when I asked. And here's a thoughtful touch: they serve the papaya's peanuts on the side, preserving their crunchiness and accommodating those with peanut allergies or preferences. Kudos to Thai Siri Restaurant!“
“My fav thai spot in the area! It’s no frills, delicious and authentic. Lunch special are great too! Love the iced coffee, lad na, basil eggplant with ground pork, catfish pad phet, and so much more. Yum!Kid-friendliness: Custom made a small chicken noodle soup for my guy.“
“The food was delicious. The chef really puts his whole heart into the food, a very large selection. When it comes to alcohol, there is wine and beer if you feel like it. The restaurant is very nice and spacious. There is room for more people. Large parking lot.“
“It’s my favorite restaurant and my first option always. The food is so fresh and delicious. The owners are so attentive and their daughter always greets us with a smile. Its truly a gem in Elmhurst and the prices are super affordable. Recommended 200%“
“Overall (A-) It's a great local safe bet place. The food is not excellent but pretty good and the lunch specials are a great value. Food (B) So I got the seafood fried rice lunch special. Included is chicken/rice soup and dumplings. All of the items were good. Safe bet local dining option quality. If I lived close by and wanted a Thai fix - I would order lunch from here Value (A+) Excellent value - especially in this economy. The lunch specials start at less than $10 and include soup and appetizers. It's a great deal. I think I was out the door with tip and tax and upgrade to seafood for $15. Service (A) Excellent friendly and quick service. If you are craving Thai, are near by and want a great value - check this place out.“
“Amazing!!! We're new to the area and are trying to replace our old go-to's. This is now at the top of the list. Classic Thai flavor and couldn't believe they had MEE KROB. Such an amazing underrated dish and so hard to find in the area. Will be back countless times!“
“This is real Thai food, prepared and served by a team of sisters. The veggies in your entree may have come out of their garden. This is real food made with care and a focus on quality. The menu is varied, the atmosphere is comfortable, the pricing is very reasonable. Entree sizes are average, definitely fair for the cost. Alcohol (beer/wine) is available. Dine-in or takeout, either way, it's going to be good.Vegetarian options: If you don't see what you want, ask and they will make it for you.Dietary restrictions: They are happy to cook to order, just ask!Parking: Street parking immediately if front of restaurant. Free parking garage 1.5 blocks South .Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard ADA compliant layout.“
“Thana Thai is an absolute gem, I'm so thrilled I found this restaurant. The Panang noodles were creamy and truly delicious with the perfect texture. The crab ragoons were fabulous and different than any that I had before. The taste of cream cheese and crab flavors merging with the crispy exterior was divine. The sweet and sour sauce served with the crab ragoon was a sensational experience for the taste buds. I must say that I have found my new favorite Thai restaurant. Kudos to Thana Thai for the magical experience“
“Right from the begining everyone is super friendly. What I love most is that they bring you a little appetizer for FREE. A little soup and small eggroll. Both are delicious also. And in general the food is really good too. I have tried the pad tai and drunken noodles. I would go back for both.“
“Great family-owned restaurant. Our favorite place for Thai food. Ning, the owner, prepares a variety of classic Thai dishes and offers new takes on classic flavors. Try the Happy Wraps, Ning's Wings, any Curry, Peanut Chicken Rama Noodles and don't forget Mangoes and Sticky Rice.“
“When ordering delivery, we decided to try Sukai Thai Cuisine. We'd never trie them before, so wanted to se if they could be one to add to our growing list.We ordered Drunken Chicken Noodles and Curry Fried Rice using GrubHub.A few comments about the food and then about delivery. The Curry Fried Rice was excellent. We're fried rice fans, but had not tried this version before. The texture of the rice was great. It had a slight crisp to it; the chicken was cooked perfectly; and the food was hot. The Drunken Noodles were also good. Since I get this dish a lot, I found it good, actually very good. I'm happier with the preparation at other restaurants but don't want to knock this one. Now, one comment about delivery. I'm growing more and more unhappy with both GrubHub and DoorDash. My feelings about both are the same. While they offer a good service model, practically, the food generally arrive Luke warm and even cold. That was the case here. The convenience of using a food delivery app is nice. They add a lot of fees to their service; I understand they don't pay the restaurants their fair share, and with a few exceptions, their issues are blamed on the restaurant. With COVID on the rise again, dining is is beginning to be concerning, again. These are the times where the service is the only option, and may help keep restaurants in business. My point is, they are a necessary evil. I wish they understood service the way their clients do.“
“One of the two go to places for thai food not just because am nearby but the taste and additional options of good sushi which is always a plus hereVegetarian options: There are plenty of entrees with vegetarian options with vegetables or tofu, additional benefit is few sushi options and also tempura“
“I enjoyed Siri Thai Two with family tonight. We ordered many dishes and shared it amongst everyone family style. Not one subpar dish on the table, and everything we had was delicious. The spice level was consistent with all the dishes and it was at a perfect heat level. For those that like the heat, they ask you ahead of time how hot you like it. I highly recommend this if you're looking for excellent Thai food.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Thai restaurant across the street from my apartment complex, and I must say, it was well worth the wait. After months of anticipation during their renovation period, stepping foot inside the newly transformed space was like entering a realm of beauty and charm. The quaint building exudes an undeniable cuteness, making it all the more inviting.Convenience is key, and this restaurant certainly hits the mark. Its prime location just a stone's throw away from my home adds an extra layer of delight to the overall experience. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by the warmest smiles from the staff, who exuded a genuine sense of hospitality. It was evident that this place was a labor of love, as the familial atmosphere shone through every interaction. The manager, in particular, left a lasting impression on us. Not only did they take the time to explain the menu and make recommendations, but they also mentioned their user-friendly website, which we promptly explored and utilized for our online order. The process was seamless, and we were able to navigate through the options with ease. Now, let me take a moment to rave about their Thai iced tea. I have to say, it was some of the best I've ever had. The perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess danced on my taste buds, leaving me craving more with each sip. The portions were generous, to say the least. As someone with a hearty appetite, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I couldn't finish everything in one sitting. It's a testament to the quality and quantity they offer. What truly touched me was the manager's attentiveness to our first visit. They graciously provided us with an extra drink and eagerly sought our feedback. This gesture made us feel valued and appreciated as customers, further solidifying our excitement to have this fantastic Thai food haven just steps away from our doorstep. Thai cuisine holds a special place in our hearts, and we couldn't be more thrilled to call this place one of our favorites. In conclusion, the newly renovated Thai restaurant across from my apartment complex has captured my heart. Its beautiful interior, convenient location, and friendly, family-owned atmosphere create an enchanting dining experience. With outstanding Thai iced tea, generous portions, and a management team that truly cares, this place has become a cherished gem in our neighborhood. It's safe to say that we are beyond grateful to have such a delightful culinary destination right on our doorstep.“
“This is my go-to Thai restaurant in the area. They are excellent for carry-out. Very quick, delicious food and I've never had an issue with them forgetting anything or losing anything. Their in-restaurant service is also great. The place is big and food comes quickly. Sitting in the booths is very pleasant for a couple people together, but I've also brought my family and in-laws and they handled that well.“
“Their new lunch specials are perfect! I went with my husband and we each got a soup and he got an egg roll while I got a crab rangoon along with our orders. He ordered the seafood pad thai and I ordered chicken yellow curry which came with white rice. Both of our orders were equally delicious and the portion for lunch was spot on. Don’t forget to add the Thai iced coffee to your order, it’s the perfect afternoon pick me up!“
“LOVE LOVE LOVE all their dishes!! Always enjoyEd their satays, roti canai and yam pot. Great place to bring friends and family to savor delicious food. Serving time may be a bit slow but their offerings are worth waiting and worth the drive. They even have Thai entrees and tiramisu desserts.“
“Alt Thai has been our go-to for Thai in Arlington Heights for years but lately there's been a notable shift -- the food is significantly more expensive and they're charging for things they didn't (e.g.: adding pineapple to the fried rice) – the food is still decent, but we're starting to get priced out of ordering from here more than a few times a year, if that...Kid-friendliness: Mixed - no kids menu but you're not shamed for bringing your kiddos.“
“The Panang chicken was very tasty and I will prder it again. The egg rolls tasted wierd and not in a good way so did not finish them and won't order those next time. All in all they did good. Last time I had garlic chicken and that was good too.“
“We accidentally ordered take out from this restaurant instead our usual Chinese place...and we never have looked back. We have found something different every time and are not disappointed. My elementary kids love the sesame chicken. We went to the restaurant today and it looks just as good as the food. Try this place out.“
“Disappointed tonight. We have been a loyal customer for a while. We would order at least 3-4 orders of the shrimp entree. Tonight. They provided a smaller size shrimp not only in the size of the actual shrimp, but also the container that it came in. so we move on.“
“Went for lunch and were seated right away. Ordered the beef fried rice and chicken pad thai lunch specials. Both came with a small soup and egg roll. The broth in that soup is absolutely fire!!! Egg roll was more like a spring roll. Our entrees were both delicious. Excellent flavor. Service was good.“
