“Allergy and celiac friendly. Some vegan options. Great old school high quality hot dogs. Unique retro home town and family shop vibes. They know their customers and take care of them personally if needed. My out of town family AND friends always schedule it into their chicago trips. Ken and Danny are caring heroes, too. Oh their stories of pulling women from burning cars, how they took care of their employees during lockdown, and more. Tell them I sent you.“
“This is an institution in Skokie! I wish you could give it more stars. The hotdogs are sensational. The burgers are the best around the french fries what dreams are made of their chicken breast sandwiches satisfying any non-meat lovers appetite everything there is excellent. The staff is great the owners great, thank you so much for being here and providing the great food. If you're in Skokie, do not miss this place the chain that begins with P and ends in OS cannot compare.“

“There's this hidden gem behind all the corporate dining places in Village Crossing. As you approach the entrance, you'll be hit with the most delicious Middle Eastern cooking aroma. Once you're inside, your senses will come to life! I'm no stranger to Middle Eastern food, so I ordered my go-to dishes - the combo plate and a side of French fries. And guess what? You can never go wrong when trying out new restaurants. The person who took my order was super nice and always had a smile on their face. After ordering, they asked me to take a seat, and within a few minutes, my first course arrived. I got a bowl of homemade lentil soup and a fresh pickled salad, and let me tell you, they were both amazing. Not too salty, not too bland, just the perfect amount of magic. In no time, the main course showed up - a plate of rice, a falafel, and huge chunks of skewered beef and chicken. The dish was served on what I believe is the best shawarma in Niles! The portion size was worth the price, and I even had enough left for a midnight snack later on.Here's a fun fact - Middle Eastern restaurants, particularly those that specialize in street food, make the best French fries. I think they use the same oil to fry the falafels, which is why these fries were an 8.5 out of 10. Trust me, that's a good score!Wheelchair accessibility: Low tables and thier is someone around to help you in and out of the doors.“
“They need to come down in their prices but other than that a great place to dine in with the family, staff is TOP Knotch and the atmosphere well you can’t get any better than this! Come and find out for yourself I promise you’ll only leave disappointed with how much it costs!“
“Portillo's in Skokie is a great spot for a delicious and casual Chicago-style dining experience. They're famous for their Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs, and decadent chocolate cake. The restaurant also boasts a fun 1930s Prohibition-style theme, complete with vintage décor and gingham tablecloths. If you're looking for a taste of Chicago, Portillo's in Skokie is a definite must-try!“
“This place is amazing. I tried get a seat at Buffalo Wild Wings but it was crowded and I wasn’t going to wait. The food was great, i enjoyed the quesabirrias and the sampler. Great local spot. This place got my support. Will be back again.“
“Have had their spicy tuna roll a few times which is always amazing (like downtown restaurant amazing) and their fried chicken strips today were heavenly. Best recipe I’ve ever tasted with a perfect crisp that didn’t get soggy and warmed up well later, and the sauces were great. Huge fan. Possibly obsessed.“
“This past mid September was the very first time trying this place and I'm glad I did. I'm a bit of a Gyros junkie so stumbling onto the name on Google maps caught my attention. My family & I were wandering around Old Orchard before coming here but I'm not familiar with any restaurants within the mall that serve up Gyros or at least I haven't heard of any popular name that's known for their Gyros there.Told my wife I've got that craving and wanna go exploring. Grecian Kitchen sounded just dandy and also in town not all that far from the mall and I always try my best to support local.I know besides actual Greek restaurants that there are hundreds of Chicago/Greek grills that many people would claim "MEH, they're all the same!". Not always the case for me and GK boasts a great menu with really good food and especially the Gyros.I've had my fair share of places that have served up some bland & boring Gyros before and never to return. Gyros here are excellent; meat is soft & moist, well seasoned and not too salty.Prices are still reasonable amidst the pandemic, nationwide inflation and the minimum wage hike. Clean dining room with outdoor seating as well with friendly customer service. We live up in Beach Park in between Wadsworth and Waukegan so not sure when I'll get back down here but if my wife ever wants to browse Nordstrom which Old Orchard is the closest to our house then I'll have to make room for some savory Gyros.I wish a prosperous & successful future for the owner(s) and decades of boomin' business to come their way.“
“My daughter had a dance recital that ended late and we needed someplace open. I had always wanted to try Hubs but never had the chance. My wife had the burger which had an excellent char and my sun and I shared the ribs and wings special. It was great. Was it the best no. Was it fine dining heck no did it fit the bill heck ya. The tzatziki was a stand out for sure. We will be back.“
“Everything is fresh and delicious! They really have something for everyone including vegan! It’s fast food only in the sense that it is fast. It’s very affordable too and we love their points program! Love their cheese ravioli and meatballs! I also love the Rainbow cone which is a Chicago original! It may seem like a weird combination of flavors but it works! Great customer service!“
“Always order the burgers Off the Broiler & Always ask for No Salt French Fries. Bathrooms are very clean. Plenty of parking all meals. If you ask for king sauce on a double whopper tell them to put Canadian bacon between the two patties & prepare to be amazed! Good for Breakfast too. Treat yourselfParking: There are other joints to the West that compete for parking but there are no adjacent structures it's a lot of parking. Like you could get a mid size moving truck in there with plenty of room to get in & out of a parking space or twoWheelchair accessibility: There is access parking clearly marked in front of the establishment.“

“Sandwich Club is one of the best kosher Restaurants in Chicago, the Donny is fabulous, the problem is they are extremely cheap about their sauce, they switched up the meat from a couple years back, and now the Donny is more Dry, i used to ask them to make sure that it’s not dry bc it doesn’t taste as good and then they would charge me .50¢ (I don’t care about .50¢ but it’s the principal that bothers me) other than that their firecracker is delicious!“
“Service was genuinely good and earnestly friendly. My girlfriend and I brought her 9-year-old it was his first time and he was pretty skeptical at first but he went home raving that it's his favorite burger place from here on.Vegetarian options: Have been plant-based for years now and it was great to enjoy a burger like I used to when I was a kid. Thanks for carrying the impossible patties! (Or beyond....I forget)Kid-friendliness: They were sampling some of their adult beverages and made an alcohol-free one for the 9-year-old with us! They also gave us extra curly straws“
“I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, and oh. my. goodness. It was love at first bite! The crust was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. And the cheese? Melted to perfection! ?And let's not forget the prices! So affordable and worth every penny. I'll definitely be back for more. ?In short, Halal Pizza Point is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious, authentic halal pizza. Don't miss out! ? 5/5 stars ?"“
