“First time last night for dinner with friends. What a great atmosphere, music could have been a tad lower. The service was very attentive. The food was really good. The crispy coconut tofu was a really good dish with many flavors mixing together to be amazing. Overall we will be back again!”

“The stuffed pizza was very good! The thin crust, IMO, was just good. The service was very good, and the restaurant atmosphere was very good - clean, bright, modern, friendly. A fun and cheerful place to eat with friends and family!Vegetarian options: You can definitely order pizza without meat. There are salads and other options that can be ordered without meat, I believe.Parking: This is located in the Arboretum shopping area so there's plenty of parking.”

“Jasmine was a wonderful waitress! Kept our glasses filled. I had the veggie flatbread which was loaded with vegetables. My friend had the open faced salmon sandwich with Caesar salad side and she loved it. Considering it was busy with spring break and the bowling and bocce were full, it was not noisy.”

“This has become our favorite place to eat out. The food is so flavorful and different from a regular sandwich shop. Also, we are able to bring our dog with us and get him his own doggy meal. They don’t have the dog meals on the menu but they are available. They really should put a sign on the counter or a wall about them. Everything is served in a dog bowl which fits with the theme of the place. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from. I am currently trying to eat my way through the whole menu! The atmosphere is like a park. Some of the tables have swings to sit on. There is a little “grassy” area with giant Jenga and giant Connect Four games to keep the kids entertained. I love the huge wall mural which shows lots of cute dogs picnicking in a park. The staff is very nice and helpful. My whole family, including the dogs, love eating here!Parking: It is located in an open air mall so there is plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Swing seats available at some tables. Giant games for them to play on the grassy area.”

“The food was presented beautifully. My daughter enjoyed the taco salad and my other daughter enjoyed the chicken tacos. I ordered the steak enchiladas, which was also presented beautifully, but there was so much sauce on top with everything else. I couldn't even taste the steak at all. They made the guacamole table side, which was delicious we all had different cocktails, and I don't think any of us enjoyed them. Mine was very strong, but again presented beautifully. I would rather it taste better and not look so nice.”

“We decided last minute to have dinner at Ruth Chris (South Barrington). The host was pleasant. Once seated we were greeted by the water person, some one who brought our bread and then Amanda our server. She was so friendly, welcoming and attentive. We had some great conversations and throughly enjoyed our dinner. Ruth Chris does an amazing job with their steaks, sides, desserts and drinks. We've been to several locations all over the county and everything is always consistent. Amanda is a great addition to this location, can't wait to visit again and ask for her!”

“Food and service is great here! Sip club membership is a good deal especially if you live close by. The staff is friendly and always welcomes you when you come through the door. The restaurant is kept clean throughout the day and I often see the staff vacuum frequently. Kids love the value meal which is just the right amount for a 5 and 8 year old.”

“The ice cream was great and all the free toppings and Starbucks were a nice touch. The ambiance is a little weird with half of the store acting as a 30-foot high warehouse of sorts. It could be a lot cuter with better decor and seating.”

Birthday celebrations bring the noise to an almost unbearable level.The food is standard Mexican fare. No real standout. It’s good with large portions but not as memorable as the mood and character of the restaurant.Absolutely perfect for a party or after hours meal. Don’t bring a book, first date or a baby needing a nap and you’ll have a good experience.”

“Let me just say that their Jibarito de lechon was the best I've ever had! It was incredibly flavorful and there was carmelization and crispy edges to the pork that I seldom find even in Chicago. The owner graciously gave us some of their chicharon to try which was also some of the best I've had. Highly recommended!”

The Peach smoothie was excellent and I look forward to trying more, there were many sorbets and ice cream flavors to choose from. The creations in ice cream that we received were works of art and joy. Highly recommended from a local parent’s social media group and delivered 100%! We will definitely work this into our routine. “Wow! Cielo far exceeded our expectations! First, the restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated. We were greeted right away and all the staff were very friendly and professional. The salsa with the house chips was outstanding - I wanted to order a jar of it! Our table of four ordered veg fajitas, steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas, cheese enchiladas with mole sauce, and steak tacos. The vegetables were clearly fresh, and the seasoning was excellent. Portions are generous, the tortillas were terrific, and we left wanting to come back soon to try everything else on the menu! Also, A+ on presentation!!”

“The owner took great care of us knowing I had a longer drive home with the pizzas by giving us extra hot honey packets, extra sauce, and not cutting the pizza beforehand. The pizza (hell raiser and the kids loved their cheese pizza) was outstanding, as expected based on the great reviews, I just wish we had even more and were closer because now we dont have leftovers!”

“This is the most spectacular thing I have eaten outside my house. I am Venezuelan and I was looking for a meal that had a very homemade flavor that would give you that feeling of being in a place. I had a chicken soup and it was delicious. I ordered a rice with stewed meat, a salad and It was like I was at the table in my home in my country. The attention was great. Five stars for you.”

“Such a memorable night out with outstanding food cooked to perfection, smooth service, attentive and kind staff, and lovely atmosphere. Angie, our server, couldn’t have done any better. It was 10/10 from start to finish. So kind, so attentive with our two birthdays, and so warm and personable. “Food Again, bigger group. We all ordered from the lunch menu. I had miso soup, spicy tuna roll and a crunch roll. Tuna could have been spicier. I asked for extra wasabi. Service Good service however a little disjointed. I asked for tea and our group had asked for refills and they were slow to fill. We a group of 5 and there was one other table that was seated halfway through our lunch. We did eventually get our tea and refills. Ambiance We all appreciated the video poker machines placed in a different room. Tables were clean. The room was inviting. We were curious as to why there were notes at the tables "please do not take chopsticks". Who steals reusable chopsticks from a restaurant?”

“What an awesome place. I had the most delicious coffee drink ever, a Creme Brulee Latte. They actually torch the sugar topping just like a fancy restaurant. Cool vibe and the monkey bread and pastries are also delicious.”

The falconry was spectacular, the horse work was true craftsmanship, and the nights gave a wonderful performance. Greatest thanks to our “man wench” Christopher who made this evening truly special.
