Cancun has a nice selection of Mexican foods (see their menu) and reasonable prices for a good plate full. Also have a large alcoholic beverage list. There was no waiting for a table and staff was cleaning each table thoroughly when customers left.We were a party of 5 and were in the restaurant for a couple hours, just eating and visiting.Service was slower than necessary given the small crowd. It was great finally getting to eat out again! The restaurant was almost bare though. The chips tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed, and the food was a bit underwhelming, but the service was great, the drinks were tasty, and the atmosphere was fun.
I’ve eaten at Cancun several times over the past 3 years, and the food has always been delicious, hot, and well presented. The wait staff is very courteous and professional. The restaurant itself has always been clean. The prices are a few dollars less on average in comparison to similar sit-down Mexican places in town. I live south of Springfield and will bypass other Mexican restaurants and drive out of my way to visit Cancun. Their tex-mex inspired twist on the local favorite...read full review
