These are freshly made to order with a thick corn meal breading around the hot dog. Ask for mustard. Best way to eat a corn dog!Their fries are fresh cut with the skin and skinny fries. I like the fries but the basket is way too many fries. If you eat a lot of fries or there's more than 2 in your party then get the basket or if you want the best deal for the price then get the basket.“

“We love Gyro Stop. The food never disappoints and the staff is great. But if you close at a certain time, that should mean you close at that time. I tried to call in an order 45 minutes before close, which I think is reasonable. I got a recording that said they prefer online orders. Great! So do I. Nope. They stop taking those an hour before close. Called again and the recording gave me the options and I selected to speak to someone to place an order and was placed on hold. After a minute or so, I was told they couldn't take my call and to try again in 5-10 minutes. I decided to just go in and place it. Nope. Door was locked 30 minutes before close. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I've worked in the service industry so I am very understanding of the employees' time but if you say you're open until 7 (this was a Saturday), then stay open until 7.“
“My Order this evening was an online purchase at our Chick -Gil-A here in Springfield. A couple things are very clear. Their team is above and beyond any other fast food chains. The courtesy training of their employees stands out. This restaurant ( because of its popularity) recently expanded their footprint to accommodate more parking and upgrade the drive up lanes. Our order was for two salads which are not started until you identify yourself in their drive up lanes. With the on- line prepayment it was a breeze from there.“

“Our waitress was absolutely amazing! Going to grab food with a toddler in tow is always a gamble. Our waitress was super sweet and interactive with my daughter. Grabbed her some crackers to help keep her occupied till our food got there. Gave her high fives and fist bumps every time she walked by or came to table. It was pretty awesome, thank you!! Oh and the food was great! Food came pretty quickly and was hot.“
“Went thru the drive thru and order was wrong. One Sancho had sour cream and it was not supposed to. Then they asked for us to bring the Sancho back to get it replaced like they didn't believe us. We tried to take the sour cream off before calling them and that didn't work too well! Needless to say they had a mess with the returned food.“

“We were in town for a show at the State Fair grounds and wanted a quick bite for lunch. The service was friendly and fast. My wife had the turkey bacon ranch on French and I had the beefeater on French the sandwiches were exceptionally delicious, so much so we went back the next day for lunch. She had the Rueben and I had the el italiano, highly recommend the 1706 Sangamon location, it small and in a small strip shop setup, the place was clean and neat.“
“Selected the Springfield Illinois location Wabash. Our prior experiences at the competition (starts with Ch) have been less than satisfactory. Friday evening around 7:15. The place was not terribly busy and gave the team an opportunity to shine. Two orders placed-Chicken quesadilla and a chicken bowl with all the fixings I like. This was a carryout order after a long day on a plane and an hour and a half drive we had an appetite. Food was served up fresh and delicious! The bowl in particular was especially tasty with a topping of sour cream, veggies, corn salsa and chips. Don’t think my mouth was watering as the team put it all together, but I got home and it was as good, fresh & tasty as I’d hoped. This is our go to place for bowls! I’d have ordered on line but wait till I could actually see how fresh the food looked- Big Thumbs Up!“

“There were no cars in the drive thru when I got there and was told to pull up to wait for my order after paying. Two more cars showed up and the first was also told to pull up while the second one stayed at the window. Employee hands a bag of food out the window to the 3rd car then after a moment the driver of that car flags the employee down and hands the bag with all the food in it back to the employee. They talk for a second then the employee walks out the door and walks up and hands it to me? I wasn't really worried about it but who hands food into a vehicle to where they open it all up only to realize it's not theirs then proceeds to hand it to another customer? Also, it was quite expensive for what I got.“
