Doesn't look like much from when you walk in....but HOLY COW. Incredible pizza! Awesome manicotti. Fresh bread. Perogi beer was delicious. Vito is the best chef and friendliest guy! He's been doing this work his whole life and he has it down to perfection. I wish this restaurant wasn't 4 hours from home because we would come here all the time. Highly recommend to others in the Springfield area!! Seriously. Gotta try it.
If you need a quick pizza fix this place will work. Just don't get the deep dish crust. It's not deep dish like you think it's just a thick crust. If you want that deep dish, cast iron pan buttery crunch that ain't it. I agree with everyone else for some reason this pizza is saltier than average. It's edible but expect to drink a lot of water the next two days. Pizza was good/average. Fair amount of toppings so that was good. Best pizza in Springfield!!! As other reviews have noted Vito and his wife are the hardest working restauranteurs and artisans of the best pizza in Springfield. Crust is fluffy, flaky and crusty. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Absolute perfection. Came for a softball tournament and nearly stayed for the pizza. Get in and get it soon, before they sail off into retirement.
