I still remember by first visit to GS, many years ago. I saw the sign and thought “a gyro sounds good” so I pulled in.Clearly I was onto something as the drive through was packed and I was the 4th person in line inside.Standing there, waiting for my turn to order a gyro, all 3 of the people in front of me independently ordered burgers. The name Gyro stop has his name for a reason. It's the best Gyro in Springfield hands down. You want a horseshoe you go to Darcy's you want to gyro you go to the gyro stop.

Sorry, failed to post here but it is an important one....I was just at Gyros Stop at 2907 S MacArthur Blvd in Springfield by Penny Lane and want to relate a positive experience.I got there just as the lobby closed and went through the drive-up to order a single Gyro with extra sauce, lots of tomatoes and NO ONIONS.The gentleman at the window and I chatted while my order was being created and I stayed a little until a car came up behind me.Not wasting a minute, I pulled around...read full review
