“Good place for lunch, decent prices, and portions. Be specific when ordering caus i think the servers are a little less proficient in english. Overall, it is a good place I would recommend. Especially the mongolian dish ( one of their speciality).Parking: Decent parking places. Didn't see a spot for handicap but it is wheelchair accessibleWheelchair accessibility: I think it is.“
“Very quirky little place. It's a small house converted to a restaurant. Not a lot of ambiance, but food is wonderful and always comes out piping hot. Reasonable prices, generous servings. Take out is an option, too. They don't accept credit cards just cash or personal checks. They don't sell alcoholic beverages, but you are allowed to bring your own.Parking lot is small. In pleasant weather there are, often, customers outside waiting for a table, but worth the wait. One of my favorite places in Springfield!“
“We haven't been to Mimosa in several years, frankly because it wasn't very good but decided to give it another try. What a difference: a larger menu, excellent service, and the food was wonderful. My wife had spring rolls and Bume Noodle dry with tofu. I had pork egg rolls, a cup of hot and sour soup (ample; no need to order a bowl), and the Spiderman sushi roll. The soup was rich and flavorful, and the roll was delicious. I also had the vanilla bean cheesecake. And large cups of dark tea. We'll definitely be back soon.2/2/2024: Returned to Mimosa for dinner. Were seated quickly. I had a bowl of hot and sour soup and a California roll. The soup was richer and more flavorful than previously. I finished off with the vanilla bean cheesecake. My wife had a bowl of vegetable soup and spring rolls, also delicious. Our server, Lala, was really nice and efficient. However, the restaurant was busy and very noisy, making it hard to carry on a conversation easily at our table.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options in the various categories: soup, rolls, etc.“
“LOVED the Duck Curry Soup! Came back for seconds the next day. We like the egg rolls. Best Thai I've tasted in Springfield so far. Good prices too. I was NOT disappointed. Can't wait to try more of their menu!Kid-friendliness: My picky 8 year old even finished off my soup and wanted more. They were very kind to him.“
“I'll start off with the food is wonderful. I got the red curry with coconut milk and it was delicious. The crab ration is cooked perfectly. The menu prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is casual. It seemed like most of their business is take out orders. If I lived closer to it, I'd be a regular.“
“To cut a long tale short, we had a new cook at our Hibachi table. Not a big deal, unless the food is partially burned and overcooked. Additionally, this is not the first time it has occurred. If you're coming there for a special event, I would strongly advise you to request an EXPERIENCED chef for the Hibachi table. It does have a significant impact. Just by looking at him, it was very obvious right away that the cook was inexperienced. He seemed agitated, without any energy at all, and avoided the gimmicks they generally use (flinging food in your mouth, bellowing loudly, etc.).“
“I have been in Springfield for over 20yrs and have missed this spot. Thank goodness I found it!!! We had the rib platter, the appetizer combo, extra egg rolls, a Noodle dish that I can't remember the name of and mango sweet rice. EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD. I wish I had discovered it sooner. I ordered take out, but got there early. They went back and started it. It came out piping hot and fast. I will be back many, many times?“
“Never disappointed. I order take-out but when I go to pick up, it is busy and people seem content. Staff are courteous but my food have always met my expectations. Gotta change my rating. I asked for green onions and only got regular onions and now I am disappointed.“
