Just had a set menu Valentine dinner. It was so good. I love that it’s a family owned small place but the presentation of food and the atmosphere of food are anything but small. Friendly staff and Ernie was so friendly. Definitely recommend it.
E & S is an excellent family-owned spot for seafood. It's in a small stripmall in St. Charles on the west side of the river (across the street from Salerno's). We have been going there for years. Their roots are as a seafood market. You can still buy fresh seafood there. They expanded the restaurant a couple of years ago, so you can usually get a table. I came here once but they used to have a slightly larger selection on the menu. Judging from recent reviews, I guess they don’t have many sandwiches anymore? I definitely wished they had a website or some sort, so you can see what they offer now. The tuna tower was an excellent appetizer. Prices were slightly expensive and portions were okay. Seafood was fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ample amount of parking. They have a decent amount of seating.
