This location gets my order right. Have a few favorites of the food, mainly jumbo hotdogs or roast beef. Their fries are my favorites in the restaurant industry. Don't like the interior of any Portillos ...outdated tablecloths, "messy looking" eclectic stuff all over the place that gives me the impression a yard sale hit the walls, can't stand background music interfering with conversations. I make a point to try not to dine in at all.
This is my first time visiting Chicago, and I must say a chicago dog was on top of my list of things to try. This establishment seemed to be very popular according to google and reviews. I visited around 8 pm and hit the drive-through. I was greeted by a young lady bundled up outside in a snowstorm taking orders.
