“This is a nice little place with friendly staff and an engaged owner that is always working on improvements to the building and business. You can carry food in, or they have frozen pizzas from a nearby place called Waterworks. I have had Waterworks pizza and it is an excellent thin crust pizza, but never tried their take-and-bake variety.”
“Nice place, friendly service, very busy on the weekend. If you go be prepared to park away from the sight because the shops around also get busy so parking can be sparse.Parking: There's in front parking and on the side parking but it's all single rowed and sparse. You may have to park down or across the street.”
“Imma be completely honest came here yesterday bought a family size thin crust sausage and jalapeño pizza and the pizza was on point it was all perfect but then I realized they barely put any jalapeños they were stingy with there jalapeños so I was really disappointed about that they went cheap on the jalapeños and the crazy part is that they charge for jalapeños so I would’ve given it 5 stars but I can’t they were greedy with the jalapeños”
“I got a flat tire in the parking lot and at some point the spare was stolen off my truck. the customers helped this millennial and saved my morning 2 hours. if you want the best atmosphere in town this it.”
“The best place to eat and have fun at the same time w your family and friends.Friday and Sunday karaoke/ Saturday night Dj:Price really razonable.Family environment, excellent service. Razonable prices. Definitely recommend”
“What a hidden gem! Went there for the first time this week and LOVED their chicken. I was so impressed we had them cater our weekend party. Definitely will be coming here again. That chicken was ???”
“Mario C is THE BEST waiter! Gave great suggestions that were spot on for Prosecco...2 different bottles and each was a perfect companion to our lunches. Also, good beer selection and cocktail. We had artichoke and sunchoke and meatball for shared appetizers, followed by each of us with a different pasta: caico buccatini, bolognese, gnocchi and spaghetti and one stuffed cabbage...all delicious! For dessert...chocolate sorbet, coconut cookie, almond Gelato and expresso martini.A delightful afternoon...not rushed...great food and beverages!Ask to be seated in Mario C's station!”
“I overly recommend it. from the staff all the way down to the food is incredible. very knowledgeable and very happy people. tell a friend Chef special cocktail bar is a must go.”
“This place is amazing. The smelts and frites live up to the hype. The service lives up to the hype (Ask for Jill!). This was the best date night dinner we’ve had since pre-pandemic times. Book a table now!”
“This place is the best. The food is to die for. I have been to Boonies several times now and i have yet to have a menu item that i haven't absolutely loved. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere and playlist are great. I can't recommend this place enough!”
“Food was incredible. Entire team was fantastic. Everyone was so nice and friendly. One of the best dinners we’ve had in all our global travels. This is food made with LOVE. If we lived in Chicago, Jeong would be a staple restaurant for us.”
“This place has a cool, hip vibe and it’s fun to eat at the communal tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of beer and creative craft cocktails. Food is beautifully plated and delicious - make sure to try the potatoes, baby gem salad and hanger steak.”
“We had the tasting menu, all courses where SUPER GOOD, interesting, beautiful, and we where so full by the end we had to take dessert to go.Dietary restrictions: All is GF”
“This was the most flavorful meal I have had in years! We asked for house picks and shared amongst 3 of us. AMAZING. Service exceptional. The staff all helped each other with smiles- so nice to see. Chef Joe Flamm was present, pleasant and engaged with staff and customers. Treat yourself to something special.”
“This is my third visit to this upscale Italian restaurant in downtown. I love their service as the staffs notes down all our requests and suggest the best for us. The menu is vegetarian friendly or you can request to customise. The star dish was their ricotta dumplings. It’s a 10/10 for me. Every item that we ordered was delicious. We got a complimentary birthday cake as we’re celebrating a friend’s birthday. I would highly recommend this place in downtown for a good Italian dinner.Vegetarian options: Pastas, bread, potatoes, aranciniDietary restrictions: They are open to customisation of the dish according to your dietary preferencesParking: Parking is difficult to find as it’s in downtown but paid street parking is available.”
“BCS is an absolute gem of a beer, and i happened to come through during their March Madness bracket (genius marketing, give that guy a raise… along with Chris & Julian) My visit made what was a terrible last night into one of the best days. The finest hospitality you’ll ever receive in Chicago. Thank you!”
“Probably the best pizza I've had in Chicago. Started with a small focaccia sandwich filled with spinach and cheese, on the house. Really enjoyed the pistachio and sausage pizza despite it's looks. It is quite heavy though. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was a bit too salty from the meats. The tiramisu was great too. Overall a nice, homey restaurant. Would love to try the arancini next time.”
“The best omakase restaurant in the entire city. There is an immense focus on how the fish is prepared and where it is sourced vs loading it with toppings to elevate the quality which is common among other omakase restaurants in the city. Jorge our chef was extremely knowledgeable and friendly making the experience interactive and intimate. The ambience is amazing with a staggered service and only two rounds of service a night, so it’s never too loud and a great spot to bring a significant other. Could not say enough amazing things about Kyoten Next Door, will absolutely be coming back, worth every penny.”
“Love, love, loved this place. Outstanding food with a lot of variety on the menu which seems to rotate in new dishes with some standards. Excellent, friendly service. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Burrito is a must, pulpo was cooked perfectly, and the flan. My goodness, the flan... Will be back. Again and again. Street parking available. Reservations recommended.”
“We greatly enjoyed the set menu. Portion sizes were perfect (most offerings were tasting size), variety was wide (everything from chicken croquettes to hamachi to striploin) and presentation was impeccable. Tables are very close together and it was a bit noisy but otherwise the ambiance was pleasing.”
“By far the best sandwiches, I've tried in town! The lamb and chorizo are amazing!! The drinks are also great. I highly recommend this place. I would give it 10 stars if I could.”
“Today, we hosted a couples shower at Stay and Play Cafe! It was beyond amazing! The owners, Yesenia and Jose were so easy and delightful to work with, the staff was attentive, recommending and teaching games to our guests of all ages, the food was delicious(cheesy eggs and quesitos were scrumptious), and the atmosphere was just perfect! I can't recommend this cafe enough. I look forward to having other functions here and/or coming with a group of friends. I can't wait to start spreading the word to family and friends. Thank you Jose and Yesenia for making our day so special! Anita G.”
“I ate so much I think I can fast for the next 2 days. burger was fantastic, wings are phenomenal, and the bacon....sent me to heaven and back. fantastic job from the waiter also, very energetic personality.”

“Dined here while visiting from out of town with friend's recommendation. Though pricey for what you get, our party of 5 was very satisfied. Good quality was very high due to ingredients and preparation. Though we forgot to get a reservation, they were able to seat us in about 30 minutes. Our server was extremely helpful and accommodating.”
“We went last night for the first time… Great menu options, food was delicious, portions were perfect, staff was really nice. I had the Grilled Salmon, he had the Braised Pork Shoulder…definitely recommend both.”
“I went to the ground floor restaurant. Burger and fries were fantastic. Sloppy Joe was above average. The servers are super friendly but this is place is hard to find with Google ”
“It's not just the food that makes a restaurant, it's also the vibe. The minute you enter Oriole you know you're in for an evening that you won't soon forget. Never have had such attentive yet not overbearing service. These people are doing what they love and if not they are excellent at acting like they do! Oriole is about you enjoying the complete experience of fine dining without being stuffy or pretentious. It's been a week and I can still feel the serotonin buzz every time I think of one of the gastronomically amazing dishes or delicious wine pairings that my friend and I had. I know I'm laying it on thick but so wowed by everything!”
“So glad this place is open. Got a regular corned beef sandwich. Good portion size, very very tasty. Ended up eating the second half cold and strangely enough found it even better. The fella working was super nice. So glad a place like this exists in Cicero.”
