Friends of ours have been telling us about this for years, so after a basketball game at NIU the group went over to give it a try. I got the Ultimate Margarita, which is one of the best margaritas I have ever had. I ordered the Taxco Burrito, which are actually three mini burritos. I got the chicken and it was excellent. Forgot how much I liked this place.We've been here twice recently.Nachos, shrimp tacos and black bean soup was great. Food is quality and fresh. Server was excellent and nice. Love, love the classic margaritas on the rocks. Clara, the Server was great!

Very impressed with the menu items, our lunch was delicious. Braised beef tacos with a side of the Diablo sauce for added kick and a combo plate were both perfect. The Margarita’s were excellent as well. Friendly staff, cozy cantina atmosphere made for a great afternoon stop.
