“Have been eating at Alfonso's since 1983, and not once have we been disappointed. Absolutely the best, most consistently excellent quality,. The most friendly, attentive owner and staff anywhere! Thank you for decades of wonderful memories.”
“We have been there many times, and everything was great. ... I noticed this time that it wasn't quite as clean as in the past. (I know it's a restaurant...but...) My feet stuck to the floor! We sat in a booth, and evidently, something was spilled ... and dried under the table. I had to wash the bottoms of our shoes when we got home. And the silverware was (the butter knife) was pretty gross.I'm hoping that was a fluke because we normally really like this place!”
“The restaurant is actually a really cozy place to eat in at, the seats felt comfortable and the server I had was very pleasant. The food tasted really good, reminds me a lot of the food out in Texas, the only downside I feel is the meat aside from the shrimp is lacking, the veggies overpower them on the plate because they’re small pieces of meat. But the taste makes up for the lack of meat. Overall it was a good experience, great place to grab some food out in Troy.”
“The food we ordered was good but I know it can get better, I'm not hating, I definitely recommend this place and I hope that those in the kitchen will embrace all the spices mexican food is known for. I really wish they would use fresh tomatoes for the salsa they make instead of canned tomato juice. The server we had was excellent and the food arrived promptly.”
“My son can not wait till they open up every year! We had to buy him a sno cone machine for Christmas to get him through his withdrawals this winter. So glad they are here and hooe tjey stay for years to come.”
“My family goes here for birthdays a lot, and I was so happy to find out that Cracker Barrel has an allergy guide. While I know Cracker Barrel is not the place to for gluten free options, I appreciate that I can’t still find something safe to eat. Side note: the loaded baked potato is great… but maybe cut back on the salt.”
“We've been dining here for over 20 years. This is our "go-to" Chinese choice. We live about 30 min away, so we have other options, but still choose to come here. Their crab rangoons are the best around & love the chick teriyaki sticks! I, personally, am not a fan of fried rice or lo-mein (not a reflection on their food, theirs is good!) But those are hubbys "go-to" choices. I like things with veggies, meat, sauce & spicy. So anything mongolian is good. But also like chick & veggies, shrimp & veggies, etc. I like that you can request a dish that isn't normally spicy, to have a little heat added to it. And they will tweak items in a dish if you ask. I don't care for bamboo shoots, so always ask that they are left out. Not a tofu fan, but son loves their fried tofu dish. And yes, I tasted it & it is good. I just wouldn't ever order it for myself. Lol. Be prepared if you go in or call in during a Fri or Sat night, they are BUSY! I think last night was about a 35 min wait, but they were slammed!! The young man at the desk was answering phones, taking walk in orders, handing out call in orders, getting online orders off the comp, collecting money, etc. And the kitchen staff was hauling butt getting orders out. I don't mind waiting. To me, it is a sign they're doing something right since there are other food options in town yet people are still willing to wait to eat here. ?”
“Hands down the best Imos in the area! Foods always hot and fresh! Customer service is always exceptional as well. Never received a bad item from here. The Troy IL is my go to location if we want Imos even though the Edwardsville location is right up the street.”
“This is a much smaller Pilot than the company's usual supersized travel centers. The convenience store is about the size of a suburban QT, Circle K, or 7-11. However, it's still a truck stop so naturally there's diesel fuel, showers, and products for truckers. There are also 10 fuel pumps for auto travelers. The store has the typical packaged foods and to-go drinks. One of the things I like about Pilot is it seems to keep fairly clean restrooms and this location is no exception.”
“Can't say regarding food, we were going to dine here, Google didn't warn us the kitchen closed early on a Saturday night. Appetizers were available, we were hungry tho and wanted a meal. Drinks were ok, don't think the kid behind the bar was well practiced yet so I'm not holding it against him and neither did anyone else. Crowd seemed to be likely a regular crowd and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The live music was good, however the singers girlfriend was front and center right up on him, if he's going to make it musically, that's a bad move, strictly speaking as a former band manager. Girlfriend, sit in the back and don't be the jealous type, musicians will make it known they're not available, if they as all typical couples really care about their relationship. All in all, I'd definitely come back if I'm around the area again, and make an point to come earlier so I can dine the fine looking menu! Lots to o here, billiards, slots, and many other things, didn't check out the back part so there may be even more surprises to this place.”
“My visit was Saturday, February 4th at 5pm. I have never had a Taco Bell experience like this. I walked in, a pleasant man was there to take my order, I ordered, paid, and literally within 30 seconds my order was ready. More smiles from the woman who gave me my food. Bathroom was clean, facilities were outstanding. What a great experience.”
“I’ve never had breakfast at Arby’s. I stopped here a few days ago and I ordered some breakfast. Now I’m a potato lover, I love french fries, tater tots, tater rounds etc. I’ve never had a hash brown like this before. It’s in the shape of a triangle and it’s almost an inch thick. You get two in a small order. Mine must have been really fresh, because after walking back to the truck in the bitter cold mine were still hot. They were crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. They are the best hash brown potatoes I’ve ever had! My breakfast sandwich was a bacon egg and cheese on toasted sourdough bread which was delicious. I only paid a little over seven dollars for the combo which is really affordable. Thanks Arby’s!”
“Man, I love myself some Jimmy John's, hands down my favorite sub shop. I ordered a #12 Giant and a B.L.T. Unwich w extra bacon, no shredded lettuce, $28.The young man that rang up our order seemed a little high or seriously preoccupied by the headset that was clearly too big for his head. We got the #12 sandwich and my B.L.T w extra bacon, but no chips or drink. I asked about it, and he just didn't hear me. He gave me a bag of chips and a water which was kind.Anyway, the shop was colder than Christmas, so we ate outside, which was nice.Vegetarian options: You can build your own delicious and fresh lettuce wrap of many veggies and spreads. Knock it out.Dietary restrictions: Numerous healthy options. It's about your ability to say no to the unhealthy.”
“Best Little Ceasars restaurant that I've been to around this area. It's always clean and they always get the orders correct.I've never had an issue with the food or service.”
“I live less than a minute from this place and had only been there once pre-covid. I went again this Saturday night and it was so good. I got a cheese burger and potato salad. Both was awesome. Best cheeseburger I've had in the area ever. My whole family liked their food. Mac and cheese was also delicious. Excited to get food from here again!”
