Had a nasty storm come roaring up on us on the highway on the way to Atlanta…and we just so happen to pop off the highway at this exit…got some gas and figured welp lets get a late night dinner and ride the storm out..storm was severe!!! Tornado bells heavy torrential downpours, cloud to ground lightning bolts, straight line winds!! You name it!!!! And here we stumble upon this place in the midst of this wicked storm….and OMG!!!!! Who would have ever thought here at a complete random exit out in the boonies….would we find ONE OF THE BEST MEXICAN JOINTS EVER!!!! This food was INCREDIBLE FOLKS!!!! HANDS DOWN MY NUMBER ONE NOW!! And we travel CONSTANTLY!!! See my other reviews…we are literally everywhere!!! Folks make it a point to stop here!!! It should be on everyone’s bucket list!!! “It's the classic Mexican style restaurant. Colorfully decorated walls and beautiful chairs. The menu is pretty standard for around here. What sets this place apart from other Mexican restaurants in this area is the service. We had multiple servers checking on us throughout the meal. We were surprised by the portion sizes compared to local restaurants. They were large but somehow less expensive than another restaurant a mile away. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and prices amazing. We have found our go to Mexican restaurant. Give them a try, you won't regret it!”

“Easily the best sandwiches we've had from any Subway. Service was quick, precise, professional; inside restaurant was clean. First time I've ever gotten more than a quick tiny shake of salt and pepper, so having an actual visible amount added the perfect flavor to the sandwich. Bread was exceptional, fresh and flavorful. We had stopped going to Subway in general because of the stinginess in toppings allotment, and expense to value ratio was very diminished over the years. This Subway has us reconsidering. Thank you for a great meal on our road trip! We will recommend to all.”

“My first time visiting a Jimmy John's experience. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. They saw that I was looking at the menu and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The prices are on point and the subs are fresh tasting. The only negative I would say is just the fact that they don't make hot foods everything is cold. But I highly recommend this location. Btw the picture doesn't do the sandwich any justice because I opened it about half an hour to 45 minutes laterParking: They also have a drive-through so if you're in a rush you don't even have to get out of your car.”

“The store waa in a great location friendly staff,walked in on fatigued or rather folks who seservwd a 15 minute break or more.I get alternative truths does EXIST in business that says open 24 hrs.I get it that there is change of cashiers mid shift.What i did not appreciate and am sure because i was tired after an OTR vacation ,drove for approx 8hrs before stopping here to eat Patience was not my virtue this day but i thinl the store owner or franchise owner can DO SOMETHING different .It is expected to wait ,but be clear on how long 10 minutes is!!BET my timing was poor ,after a long trip with hubby,we stopped here during what we determined was "10minutes" change of drawers,or end of shift ,it took foreverBut Honesty is paramount to maintaining fatigued hungry clients?So how about be Clear,We are closed,it should take 10 minutes ,but it may be Longer than that!!!!! I mean we get it!!! “Was taken here for the first time by my daughter, an Eastern Illinois alumni, before heading to the awesome Aikman Wildlife Adventure park, and it was DELICIOUS! Friendly staff from the start, even the head cook came out to welcome me to this lovely, Mexican cultural with a hint of Frida decorated eatery, and invited me to taste some very very delicious and authentic food! Chicago I feel reigns in great Mexican food in Illinois, but this spot, about 3 hours south of Chicago, made sure to make a point that even in rural areas of Illinois, there is great and authentic food! We shared a yummy torta de carne Al Pastor that was perfect, from the bread to the scrumptious and savory meat! We also shared two types of sopes, one of Al Pastor and the other of Asada, that wowed me because of the serving of meat to the perfect size and quality of the masa but also the great taste! Theres a presence of both Monterey and Toluca not just in the food, but the warmth of the staff and taqueria! A must do if you find yourself near Arcola, IL. #graciastotales”

“It's nothing fancy, but the drinks are cheap and I've always been happy with the food. Had a burger topped with pulled pork, and they didn't ask how I wanted it but it came out somehow fully cooked and still as tender and juicy as any medium-rare burger I've ever had. I suspect witchcraft.”

The bread was fresh the toppings plentiful and tasty. After trying this location I now know where to get a good sandwich quickly.”
