This was my first time having Korean food and it was really good. We were leaving the UIUC Engineering career fair and decided to grab a bite prior to getting on the road. The food was fresh and flavorful. I love the textures of the foods and the spicy sauce you can put on your foods. We ordered kimchi soup, seaweed rolls, fried dumplings and Bi Bim Bap. Would definitely return in the future.
This is a good lunch spot for a quick meal. I will need to come back and try their soup noodles. Quality- I got the squid and pork rice dishes because I was really hungry. Overall, the food was average. It was well seasoned and marinated with their sauce but the meat was over cooked. The squid was a bit stringy and the pork was also a bit dry. Had tteokbokki with cheese. It was moderately priced and is big enough for two people. It's not too spicy and is slightly sweet and creamy. Fishcakes were fishy tasting (not in a good way) but the rest was good. Looking forward to trying more items.
