We are from WI and found Big Ed's because it was close to the hotel we stayed at. Unfortunately they we out of a few favorites but we found others and all 3 meals were outstanding. I had a full rack of ribs which were amazing and the wings were just as good. Service was great and super friendly...every employee was helpful and had smiles on their faces. I slapped like 3 peoples mama's after I left this place- it was SO. DAMN. GOOD.Burnt ends, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes- I'll be dreaming of this meal for ages. The Chipotle maple bbq sauce slapped your moms grandma!Don't go in January, they're not open. Otherwise go everytime you're hungry.

I saw Big Ed’s on Chicago’s best and wanted to give it a try. I will say arriving as soon as they open will ensure you are able to get a plate before they get packed with customers. I have to say the rib tip dinner is a lot of food for sure! It could feed two people easily. The food quality and the service really is worth every penny!
