“Owner Dave is a great guy. They took over thus dysfunctional establishment and remodeled. Looks fantastic. Dave and wife Gina are the proprietors. Cozy little spot in Waukegan near the Genesee Theatre. I'm sitting here as I review, waiting to catch Bee Gees Gold show down the street. Stop by Lucky Scottie and say hi to Dave.“
“It was highly recommend to us and now I highly recommend this place. My wife ate the wild west burger and I ate the classic burger with bacon. The burgers were delicious and priced good for the size. The fries were so good. The service was top notch.“
“Still tasts the same. I use to go to the Original Hoagie Hut when I was in grade school. Service isn't fast but that is because it's made to order. But always worth the wait. Only thing that bugs be is, I wish the hours were a bit different. I have made trips there based on their Google hours posted to find out they closed early. No sign nothing. As a person that works customer service I would suggest updating your hours. It has happened to me a few times so either they close early often or their hours really are not correct on Google. I know alotnof businesses have changes their hours since covid and have shortened them but I think it should be changed in Google website etc. Gas isn't cheap. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would dislike driving 30+ minutes out to find out your closed.“
“I can honestly say Burger King has stepped up its game had a whopper and it was perfect bread and meat were warm I’ve been here before and something was always cold but recently it’s changed best whopper I’ve had in 30 years …good job “
“Only the second day under the new owners and yes, the fish fry is as good as ever ( only wish they still had those potato pancakes). Thank goodness they’ve moved the slots into the room of the former (and creepy) liquor store next door. Service was great though a bit overwhelmed, and the crowd was happy. Now if they could only do something about that depressing back dinning room. No windows, no decor, and all the atmosphere of somebody’s basement. Can’t wait to return.“
“I asked for food to be cooked fresh and that's how I receive my chicken nuggets.Vegetarian options: There's something for everyoneKid-friendliness: Definitely, family orientedParking: Big lot adjacent to Aldi'sWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Yes“
“The employees are helpful and friendly. What I really like about this place is they keep up with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The food is always warm and they serve more than enough food. I'd definitely recommend them ,if you haven't tried them.“
“ 5 ⭐Better than Culvers and they have to compete with McDonald's next door. The burgers have really good flavor, a little bit of a longer wait because they are cooking them on the griddle when you order. Allow for a little extra time when you order. Of course the line is not as long as McDonald's so you're probably out much quicker. The food is always fresh and hot.Vegetarian options: Salads and baked potatoesDietary restrictions: AskParking: LotsKid-friendliness: Yes high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“The food is amazing. I'll miss it when I leave Illinois due to the state I'm going to not having one. It's cheaper than McDonald's if you're okay with spending $2 less than McDonald's for 2 people. The staff are really nice and allow you to take your time without getting annoyed. Ive gone through the drive thru twice with the same results. Food is amazing, inside is clean. You don't have to worry about them screwing up your food either. Culver's, you are on the top of my list for best fast food places.“
