If this is the same El Rancho that used to be on the corner of State and Chestnut in Chicago back in the 70s, and I believe it is, they have the most delicious burrito de carne asada I've ever eaten. I've ordered burritos in cities all over the country hoping to find one that tasted as good as El Rancho's, and never did.
I forgot my lunch at home one day and decided to try a restaurant close to work. Don’t make the same mistake I made and make sure to call your order in ahead of time as lunch is understandably busy.I ordered a steak torta and 2 al pastor tacos and absolutely loved both! I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was outstanding - every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent - the staff were knowledgeable and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.
