Good place to look for uncommon liquor. I rarely drink so it has to be special for me to buy it and this place has the stuff worth buying. They'll special order items too if they don't have it.

Alex our server was great ! He was so patient with us. We came to chat, eat and catch up with our mom. And to celebrate our birthdays too. We stayed and chatted for 2 hours and were so happy that he didn't seem to mind!

With our reservation, we were seated immediately on Valentine's Day so I was quite happy. The drinks were delicious and we got the bread board appetizer and it was so good. We considered getting a second! I got the chicken schnitzel which was absolutely incredible and my partner got the chicken pot pie was while tasty, was rather thin. We shared a cupcake in the end which was also delicious. All in all a perfect date night spot!

My husband and I had a great date night! We both had the clam chowder and the Chicken Piccata. Both were excellent. When choosing our wine, our waitress was so helpful. She let us try one and gave us a great suggestion.
Our family Christmas dinner was made even more special at Goblin & the Grocer. My sister passed away a week ago, so our gathering was bittersweet. The friendliness of the staff & the excellent food choices lifted our spirits. We've been here several times & it will remain a favorite.

Very good meal with great live music for brunch. Pricey mimosas that were basic; I wish the server would have mentioned they were $14/drink. I had two different kinds, they were small, and the bottle/flight would have been cheaper for $35. Everyone seemed happy with their food. I know mine was delicious. I will definitely go back.

What a delightful place to have Brunch! Met friends and loved the warmth and light atmosphere; Hannah was a server and she was pleasant and attentive. Drinks both alcoholic and non were delightful and the beer on Tap was sooo good. Peroni on Tap is a unicorn in NWI! Everyones food was delicious! Not 1 complaint. Guy jamming acoustic tunes was a nice touch. A great day!

Overall, we had a great experience. The service was good and the food was also good. However, we went here for the first time for our anniversary. What differentiates a great restaurant and experience from a good one are the special touches. If this restaurant would have just acknowledged it in some minor way, it would have elevated the experience. We mentioned it to the server and the hostess.

We were late as we got behind a stopped train, I called and they were gracious and held our table. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. All of our food tasted great, came our hot and was beautifully presented. Can't wait to return!
Wonderful dining experience. We were a party of 8 and things always don't go well for large parties as something always seems to go sideways or someone isn't happy. Not a chance here. Server and kitchen were spot on. We had oysters, Mac n cheese, meatballs and charcuterie to start. Finished everything. Steak, tuna and schnitzel for entrees. All fabulous (NY strip is probably best in Northern Indiana). And one of the few places in the area where you can make an online reservation. Don't hesitate to book!

Love coming here but the trio of musicians were so loud we couldn't enjoy each other's company. The server had a hard time taking our orders. Will not come again if there's music.

Overall the atmosphere and menu was great, however, the quality of the food was inconsistent. Some of the items were delicious, however, some of the items were flavorless, and not worth the price. We were pleased with accommodations for food allergies and special requests. Two of our guests ordered pasta dishes and the sauces were watery and lacked flavor and seasoning. The burger and the muscles on the other hand were delicious. We were glad we went to try it, however will not likely come back.

We ordered the hash dish. It was an interesting combination of potatoes, zucchini, mushrooms tomatoes and spinach, with bacon and toast. It could have used more spices. I added salt and pepper and it helped. I thought it was pricey but it was fresh so probably worth it

We dined at G&G with friends this past Saturday night, our first time there. We enjoyed all our food, starting with the French-style mussels (delish!) and spinach dip, followed by a very solid chicken piccata dish. It was a nontraditional preparation with panko breading but very tasty (plenty of yummy capers, which I appreciated). And my cherry mule was enjoyable as well. Would definitely come back! :)
