Food is really good here but is a little expensive. It is definitely a nice place for a date or a chill time with your friends. I would say dress is dress casual. Im

Steve is the best! I love this boutique liquor store! I won’t go anywhere else! Wine and spirit list is beyond awesome!

The gentleman working there is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. A great place to get a bottle of wine, hard seltzer, or bottles of liquor. There are brands you recognize from the usual liquor or grocery store but then they've got more. You've got to stop in to try something new!

The good news - they were able to squeeze us in on a Saturday night, the old fashions were top notch, the charcuterie app came out quickly and the atmosphere was great. The bad news - the rest. Our dinner experience for a party of 5 took 2 1/2 hours. It was a painfully long wait for our food. The medium rare hamburger was minimally cooked to the point that the meat was mushy and several meals were cold to the touch. The members of our party are generqlly patient, kind, empathetic and understand the challenges in the reataurant and service industries. That being said it was a miserable dining experience. It's a great concept. We wish them the best and hope that that they are able to iron out the kitchen and service challenges they are experiencing.

In May of 2020, during the beginning of the lockdown, I was pleased to find them OPEN even though the beach shop next door was closed! I met the owner / manager who was very friendly. Just as you might expect, they have a fine selection of spirits!

Awful service. Bartender and his assistant constantly eye rolled. Service took forever. Never again.

First time at Goblin & the Grocer. Stopped for late lunch after a beach day. The chicken schnitzel was ok, but way overpriced for small quantity of chicken, cucumber salad, and weird potato salad. Cute place. Probably won’t return.

This was a great find the food and drinks were phenomenal I only wish it wasn’t so far from home I would highly recommend it to anybody .

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Our server must have been new as she was a little confused on the menu and placing the order. Food was great and enjoyed the small market they have. We purchased a few items to take home. Walked across the street to Hobgoblin Spirits and chatted with the owner for a bit. Will definitely be back to both.

What a GEM! This place is absolutely fabulous. Not only is the design beautiful, it is so cozy offering banquette seating and a fireplace with comfy chairs! It is a one stop experience. An incredible wine menu, music, a market full of homemade goodies, a knowledgeable and welcoming staff, and an AWESOME owner and GM. I can’t say enough about this place. We had such a great experience. We love their menu and the music was such a great addition to our time. Wine on point, service is amazing, food is fabulous, atmosphere is beautiful. Well done!

We love going to the Goblin & The Grocer. Nice brunch spot or place to grab apps when hiking or going to the beach. Out favorite is bike riding the Calumet Trail from Michigan City and making this our stopping point for a beer and appetizer.
