When they're busy, table service is reliant on VOLUNTEERS. They get tips, that's it. In this time good help is hard to find and volunteers must be incredibly hard to get. Give them a break and be patient. They're doing the best that they can. Once you order your food, it does show up quickly. Food is always hot, very tasty, generous portions and it's a bargain by todays standards.Since we discovered this place we have had several very good meals there, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We LOVE this place and hopefully we'll see you there for a beer and a burger...or maybe the fish fry?”

“When u come here on a regular the bremen locals become family. They all stick together to have fun and help people. Sometimes even outside of the bar u meed a hole dug or maybe a loved one passed away. The family here welcomes u amd helps n anyway they can.”

I was told the desserts are handmade as well.Out of the way, gives the impression that it's kept afloat by a trucker and manufacturer customer base.Another holdout of the world before big corps started dominating the scene.Needless to say, we have an aging clientele with much to say of pertinence to our post-modern times. “I used to go here alot, me and my mom would drive from CrownPoint IN to FortWayn IN, and halfway there is this gas station where we get food etc. and everytime I came here which was like 4 times a year back then I'd order from this Subway. It amazes me how I was there for probably the first time back when I was like 6/7 and now almost a decade later (turining 16 next year) I am still going there. Makes me sad sometimes when I look back, but when I do I see my happy memories as a kid... and I loved this subway!!!!!!! “The gift shop is great. I'm from CA so I got some cute souvenirs to take back. The wagon ride, carriage ride and house tour are a must. Fun to learn about Amish people and the way they live their lives. The restaurant was fabulous. Esther our waitress was super sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable. We loved everything we ordered. There happened to be a small car show outside. The theatre house we have to come back and see. They actually have live plays and you can do dinner/play combos. A definite must see!”

“We come to Nappanee every two years or so to get our motorhome serviced. We live in West Texas. This is always our first stop coming to town and last stop on way out of town. Food is always fresh and delicious. The egg drop soup and ragoons are the best! Prices have risen but everywhere else has so they are not out of line. Wish they would come with us. We could sure use their quality of food at home. We will be back!”
