“This place does not have a lot of the El Nopal energy that makes El Nopals in Louisville and Corydon great. The NFL playoff games were on the TVs but there was no sound........ the TV sound wasn't on but there was no music playing. There was an entire room being blockes off by stacked tables and chairs.Whole place had a weird vibe. Felt like one of those Chinese food buffets where the workers and super scared of their boss and super awkward.“
“I first had Captain D’s back home in Illinois. Swore I would never go to another one ever again. When I moved to Columbus, and saw one was here, I still felt the same. One day I decided to bury the hatchet and try it again. I am so glad I did. This location is amazing! It is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, and food is very tasty!“
“This is one of my top picks among the dine-in restaurants in Columbus. They are consistently fast, the food is fresh, good-sized portions, and the service is usually great. If you ever have an issue, tell the man at the checkout counter and he will personally make sure that you are happy to be there. He once became our server when we waited 15 minutes with no one to help us at our table. I never knew who was supposed to wait on our table that time, but he stepped in! That was probably the best service I have ever had there! Anyway, I've tried several things and have liked most everything I have ordered. My preference is usually the street tacos with cilantro and onions and tomatillo sauce.“

“Homeboyz is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. Immediately upon entry I was greeted by two ladies and my order was taken instantly. I felt very welcomed and invited into the space and smells of the food was amazing. I ordered the ultimate combo which is fish, chicken, two sides, and a drink. For my sides I had the mac and cheese and fried potatoes with onions. Everything was seasoned well and tasted amazing. The portion size of everything is well worth the price too. They also make their own tartar sauce which is phenomenal. I choose the lemonade as a drink which was delicious too. For the desert I was fortunate enough to get an end piece which is my favorite because it usually has more crust and needless to say they didn’t disappoint. This place is by far my favorite restaurant in the camp Atterbury area and I look forward to another visit in the future.“
