One of the few places in NWI that will actually make you a pour-over when you ask for it. Most places claim that they take too long, despite putting them on their menus, but Uptown will make them, and they will do so even when they are busy. Finally, a coffee shop that will serve you coffee as it is intended. The coffee itself is good. I have had better, but it is definitely up there in terms of quality. I am so sorry I didn't find this place sooner!?!? The atmosphere, the energy, the SCONES, and of course the coffee...ALL ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Let me not forget about the SERVICE. Attentive and helpful...WITH A SMILE. 5 STARS!

There is a reason they are always out of biscuits and gravy. So good. Great coffee as well... you guys need to warm your place up. Otherwise I've never had a negative experience here. Thank you.
